Lindsay's party girl reputation doesn't seem to be hurting her career any. She just announced she was going to be a Southern belle and now she has yet another film on the horizon. This time, it's a thriller where she plays two different characters. Here's more:

LINDSAY will return to playing dual roles on the big screen for the first time since she played twins in the 1998 remake THE PARENT TRAP. The actress is set to star in the thriller I KNOW WHO KILLED ME as AUBREY JORDAN, the young daughter of affluent parents who is abducted and mutilated by a sadistic serial killer. After managing to escape after being tortured and having her hand cutoff, she regains consciousness in a hospital and insists that she is not Aubrey, but DAKOTA, Aubrey's identical twin sister who has a much different demeanour. Dakota struggles to convince anyone that she is not Aubrey and that her sister's life is still in danger. The film will begin shooting next month (DEC06) on location in San Luis Obispo, California and in Los Angeles.

Nicole Richie has been cited by the FCC for using the F-word on the 2003 Billboard Music Awards. She hasn't, however, been fined because her infraction "occurred before the FCC decided that the F-word was bad." What? When was the F-word not a bad word? Anyway, here's more:

Per the FCC, Fox played with fire by sending Richie out on live TV at the 2003 Billboard Music Awards.

"As Fox well knew," the FCC decision said, "Ms. Richie frequently used indecent language in inappropriate contexts."

As the FCC apparently might have guessed, Richie did not stick to her script at the award show during a banter session with fellow presenter and Simple Life costar Paris Hilton. Where Richie was to say, "Have you ever tried to get cow manure out of a Prada purse? It's not so freaking simple," Richie instead substituted "s--t" for "manure" and "f---ing" for "freaking." The improv was heard, and aired live, in the eastern time zone.

Simon Cowell is ready to give Kate Moss a record deal. The host of American Idol and the UK version, The X Factor, knows a brand when he sees it and Kate is sell-able to him. SIMON Cowell wants to sign Kate Moss on a huge recording contract - even if she CAN'T sing. But the pop guru has insisted he would not include her boyfriend Pete Doherty in any deal.

The X-Factor star revealed his desire to launch a pop career for the supermodel after she sang with the Babyshambles singer at a recent concert in Dublin. He said: "I would like to offer Kate Moss a recording contract, whether she can sing or not.

"The thing about Kate is that she's a star - it's the 'Kate factor'. People attach themselves to her and instantly become interesting." But he added: "There's no way I would take him [Pete] on. I doubt he'd turn up for anything."

Gwen Stefani stopped by a London radio station with an entourage, including Kingston, her trainer, and her hairdresser. I guess she needs someone to keep her bangs in that perfect position. Little Kingston of course is always the most important part of her ensemble and by far her best accessory. Looks like Gwen is wasting no time promoting her new album The Sweet Escape which hits stores on December 5th.

AFI Fest continues with the premiere party for The Dead Girl. Brittany Murphy walked the red carpet looking very put together. This is opposite of her character in the movie who was "a woman driven by violence, drug use and severe psychological issues." The cast also includes the yummy James Franco and Kerry Washington and Marcia Gay Harden.

Everyone sure has been giving Madonna a hard time lately. And now she's been punched in the face! We were just wondering how Madonna got a bruise on her cheek, and now it turns out it was caused by a pack of overeager photographers. The paps evidently went into a frenzy when they saw Madonna and new baby David at Heathrow Airport last weekend and she ended up getting socked. Here's more:

"She had the baby in her arms when it happened," says the source. "When she landed in London, there was a lot of pushing and shoving. She was jostled around. She got hit in the paparazzi's commotion."

David, the 1-year-old she is in the process of adopting from Malawi, was not hurt in the scuffle. "Thank God the baby is OK," says the source.

Yeah, no kidding. Madonna is not one to take that kind of stuff lying down. I wonder if a lawsuit is in her future. More pics so read more
