Courtney Love is clean and sober and out promoting her new tell-all memoir called "Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love." In the book she talks all about her past, including Kurt Cobain, daughter Frances Bean and her famous drug addiction. Here's more:

Now sober for 15 months, Love writes that if she could, she'd put "a black page in this book and just write 2001 to 2004 across it," because "I was on drugs and nothing I wrote made any sense."

Love says another troubled star helped her seek rehab and get clean.

Love was holed up in a fancy hotel room in Beverly Hills, doing drugs, when Mel Gibson and addiction counselor Warren Boyd knocked on the door.

"Mel kept coming to the door with this cheesy grin going, 'Hi!'" Love said. "I just kept looking at him going, 'Blank off!' … I know him and he's a nice guy, but it just didn't matter who it was. It could have been Jesus. I didn't care."

But the men doing drugs with Love recognized Gibson and left with him to get a cheeseburger. That gave Boyd the opportunity to get into the room and coax her into rehab.

Mel to the sober rescue. Somewhat ironic isn't it? Well let's hope Courtney stays sober for Frances at least.

Ms Mischa is such a fashionista that we are a bit shocked to see her looking a bit schleppy in Malibu the other day. She clearly has the fabulous flat boot thing right, but the rest could use a makeover. What's the point of wearing a sleeveless daytime dress if you need multiple scarfs to keep you warm? Maybe she is a bit depressed since the O.C. does kick off tonight and she is no longer a part of the gang.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were on-hand for a screening of Hollywoodland at The Times BFI 50th London Film Festival earlier this week. The festival showcases the best films around the world which says quite a lot about Hollywoodland. Ben already won a Best Actor award at the Venice Film Festival and the Hollywood Film Festival. The BFI's don't give out best film or best actor awards but that doesn't mean there isn't an Oscar nomination in his future. However, we think he has tough competition with Matt in The Departed and The Good Shepherd.

As for Matty, we asked you yesterday whether or not you liked his jean jacket look. Most of you said no, but from the look of these pics it's clear that the jean jacket isn't stopping anyone from wanting his autograph. It's so great for Matt to come out to support Ben. Justin will be hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards today in Copenhagen. He held a press conference the other day to reveal he is calm and cool about the event. Apparently he isn't feeling any pressure. He's also happy to offer men all over the world tips on getting their Sexy Back. Here's more:

"The pressure's not on me, it's on the performers," he told reporters at a news conference. "I'll try to make MTV proud. "I'm looking forward to seeing Muse, I really like (their latest album) 'Black Holes and Revelations'," Timberlake said.

In September, 25-year-old Timberlake released his second solo album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds," which has topped the charts and features the single "SexyBack."

When asked how a middle-aged man might "get his sexy back" and keep his wife interested in him, Timberlake dished out some helpful advice.

"First of all, do not look desperate," he said. "Surprise your wife with a trip to somewhere with better weather than Copenhagen." The city had its first snowfall of the year on Wednesday.
