A few weeks back Jessica Simpson was talking about doing a movie called Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson. But a rep for Wilson said that the project was still in the works and a source close to the actor said “Luke Wilson will never do a movie with Jessica Simpson.” But now it seems he has changed his mind. MTV reports that Luke has joined the cast of the film, which is a remake of Working Girl and originally starred Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith. Here's more:
Luke Wilson has joined Jessica Simpson as part of the cast of "Blonde Ambition," a loose remake of the 1988 Melanie Griffith classic "Working Girl." "It's going to be Jessica Simpson's next film," said producer (and former "Malcolm in the Middle" star) Justin Berfield. "It's basically about a young woman's journey into the corporate empire. She starts at the bottom and works her way to the top." The flick will offer the singer/actress her first leading role, as she steps into a character that landed Griffith an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. "The second we got the script, we just knew we had to go to her first, and fortunately she fell in love with the script as well," Berfield remembered. Andy Dick is in discussions to play an "evil" secretary. "Blonde Ambition" begins filming November 27 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is aiming for a summer release.

Halloween may be over but some of Patrick Dempsey's skeletons may have found their way out of the closet. Reports are resurfacing that his first wife made some pretty strong accusations against the actor after their split, including physical abuse. Here's more:
Rochelle “Rocky” Parker claimed that Dempsey once broke her finger in a car door and further charged that “while we were on the set of his [1987] movie ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ he beat me up because he wanted to see what it was like to beat a woman,” the tab is reporting.
Dempsey and Parker married in 1987, when he was 21 and she was 47. She filed for divorce in 1991, citing “irreconcilable differences,” reportedly after he told her that he had met another woman.
Now, Parker is distancing herself from those accusations. After the Enquirer contacted Dempsey’s rep for comment, Parker released a statement saying that during the messy divorce she had been advised to make those accusations and others — which she now says are false.
Patrick's ex can't seem to get her facts straight. But, what I'm really weirding out about is how much older she is than him. She's almost 70 now! How did they get together in the first place, you ask? She is the mother of his best friend, Cory Parker. Wow! Sounds like someone wants her name in the press or the tabloids are digging up stuff to sell magazines since the world had fallen in love with McDreamy again they got to try to tear him down. This won't stop us from still loving Can't Buy Me Love and Grey's.

Can you guess who got dressed up as a very buff Eve and the snake that temps her with the forbidden fruit? It's Heidi Klum and Seal pulling out all the stops for their annual Halloween bash on Tuesday night! I would have thought Heidi would go for something a little more glamorous but she does that everyday. Still, I bet she had to sit in the make-up chair just as long. Reese and Ryan sadly announced their split earlier this week, so it's no surprise they have landed a ton of magazine covers this weekend. Since we heard the news on Monday, we have learned more about them fighting in public, and then Reese reading Ryan's Blackberry to reveal a third party may be involved. Life & Style reveals that Reese was worried about Ryan cheating while he was away on set. They also predict that she has the upper hand and is calling the shots. US Weekly is claiming that Ryan was too open with his cheating and when Reese found out he did not deny it. As for that other woman, well her name is Abbie Cornish and you can see pics of them on the set by clicking here.
UPDATE - No pre-nup. TMZ reports that Reese could lose millions in the divorce and that while they are trying to keep things peaceful for the kids, there is "no talk of reconciliation and that divorce papers are merely a matter of time."

Madonna has received a lot of criticism for adopting David from Africa, so she is now on a press tour to tell us more about the adoption. She stopped by The Today Show this morning and spoke about offering David's dad money to raise his son on his own, living in a racist world, and teaching David Kabbalah. The last one is no surprise since we already saw the cute little guy sporting his red string bracelet. Here's more:
Madonna claims she first offered money to the poor African farmer whose son she adopted so he could get the boy out of an orphanage and raise him - but he turned her down. "I offered that in court when I met him," the pop queen said in an interview with NBC's Meredith Vieira that airs today. "I couldn't really understand that decision. ... I believe he remarried and had moved to another village and was kind of getting on with his life. I think he truly felt in his heart of hearts ... that he would have a better life with me," Madonna said of Yohane Banda. "So, when he said no" to the money, Madonna said she took it as "my sign that ... it was my responsibility to look after him."
Madonna also says she intends to introduce the boy to the kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism that critics deride as a cult. "I believe in Jesus and I study kabbalah," she said. "So, I don't see why he can't, too."
"A lot of people have a problem with the fact that I've adopted an African child, a child who has a different color skin than I do," she said.
"I don't live in a ... in a white world," she said. "I live in the world. And my children are exposed to all cultures and all races and many belief systems."
