Kate is coming to the rescue and spending time helping others. She is speaking out in defense of her BFF Stella's dad and working hard to help Pete stay sober. In fact, Pete just told some of his fans that they will be getting married soon.

As for the Heather Mills, Paul McCartney divorce - it's about to get super nasty. Heather is threatening to sue The Sun for leaking "false" divorce rumors, but Kate is stepping forward to defend Paul, calling Heather a liar. She's also working around the clock to help Pete get sober, but it's starting to look like she may be visiting her man in jail for Christmas. Here's more:

Pete has moved into Kate’s plush St John’s Wood home and some thought she had done the impossible by saving him — barely a year after she was exposed as a £200-a-day cocaine user. But Pete’s continuing drug problems and rock ’n roll lifestyle have been taking a toll on her too. A pal said: “They’ve had blazing rows about his daily drugs use and refusal to give up his band in favour of a quiet home life. The horrible arguments centre on his desire to have a baby and her refusal to get pregnant unless he stops smoking crack cocaine.

“Things came to a head at the start of the month after Pete played Brixton Academy. He went back to Kate’s house and they had a row which left him with a ripped shirt. She is also jealous of him hanging around with gorgeous girl hangers-on.

“Pete’s got just over a month before court and needs to prove he’s clean. But he’s still taking crack and other substances. He is driving Kate to despair. “They’ve been trying to set a wedding date but they can’t do anything until the court hearing. It’s looking extremely likely that he’ll get a prison sentence. Kate is preparing for the possibility of visiting him in jail on Christmas Day.” Lenient courts have so far let Pete stay free. He is serving two Community Orders under which he was supposed to quit drugs.

We're really pulling for Kate and hope she can help Paul move on and Pete get sober. There is no denying Kate and Pete want to be together so let's just hope that means out of jail or rehab. More pics of Kate shopping around so read more

Gwyneth had a recent kid-free night this week at the screening of Brad Pitt's new movie, Babel, but it sounds like she almost didn't make it out. When asked about leaving Moses at home for the screening she said, "I'm frazzled. My baby would just not settle. Yes, I have a good sitter. And he's fine now; he settled just before I left. But it was a long process." Looks like Gwyneth doesn't need any help with adorable Apple. The two seem to be taking in the scenery on their NYC stroll.

SJP will be trick or treating for the children this year. The fashionista is a big supporter of UNICEF as well as their Ambassador, and she reveals it's actually one of her oldest childhood memories. We all know little James Wilke is very special to SJP, so it makes sense that she's passionate about a charity that saves children's lives. We also love that she matched her pretty blue dress to the UNICEF colors. Here's more:

"I am not making this up. My oldest memory is trick-or-treating with UNICEF," she said to ABC's Diane Sawyer. "What UNICEF does is it goes to the children that are most in peril, countries with man-made and nature-made crises, and changes lives," Parker said.

Parker will be trick-or-treating with him on Tuesday, but she won't be in costume. "I haven't for years. I just can't abide it. I'm so old," she said. "I'm so happy to walk around with these UNICEF boxes and with my son and try to go monitor his candy."

We all know Kate loves to work out - especially doing a lot of lunges. Kate knows they are a great way to sculpt your legs but do you? Most people shy away from them because lunges can become tedious and, like everything else, your muscles can get used to the motions if you don't add some variation to your lunge every once in a while.

Here is a fun way to update the lunge:

Lunging in different directions enables you to use new (and more) muscles in your legs. So rather than the typical forward and reverse lunges, imagine you are standing in the middle of a star and lunge forward (and reverse for all the points behind you) to all the points of the star to complete one set. Do 3-4 sets.

Like we promised, here are the pics of J Lo and Marc Anthony's Long Island home as seen in the special edition of Vogue Living. The house which is described as an antebellum redbrick mansion, is of course, incredibly elegant. Not that we'd expect anything less from J Lo. Marc bought the home before they were a couple but they wanted to combine their different styles and make it something they could both enjoy. Here are a few highlights:

"I go a bit more for the drama," says Lopez, while her husband's taste is "very bohemian as you know some musicians can be. But I can appreciate the bohemian side and he also appreciates glamorous things, so it was easy for us to meld."

"Of course I needed a little more closet space," says Lopez coyly. She co-opted an old bathroom for the purpose....Here are many of the iconic Lopez gowns that have brought her applause and occasional catcalls on her red carpet appearances...."The Oscars, for some reason, ruin your dress," Lopez explains,"It gets snagged and pulled and people step on it. It's a mess!"

Mischa Barton went for the leopard look at the DKNY Men's Underwear Celebrity Field Day event. The party was on top of Sky Sport & Spa in LA and was to raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of LA and IE organization. Mischa was also there to support her man Cisco Adler who was a guest DJ.
