Madonna appeared on Oprah today where she spoke in depth about her love for David and how he's fitting in so well with her family. She also spoke about the challenges of adopting the young boy. To see a clip of the show, click here. Madonna also said that Brad and Angelina had nothing to do with her adoption decision, insisting she's never even met Angelina. Here's more:
"David is amazing," the 48-year-old pop star said. "What really surprises me is how great my children are with him and how he's transitioned so easily from living in Africa in an orphanage to living in our house."
The 30-minute interview with Winfrey was the first time Madonna had spoken on TV about the adoption, which has been challenged by human rights groups that allege the singer used her fame and fortune to flout Malawai's adoption laws.
"If only my wealth and my position could have made things go faster," she said. "I assure you it doesn't matter who you are and how much money you have, nothing goes fast in Africa."
Scarlett, Kate & Pete and Gisele were just a few stars who got all masked up to attend the Moet & Chandon annual fashion tribute in London last night. Scarlett celebrated in not-so-simple black little dress and matching mask, while Gisele went extreme with a punker rock look. I'm not loving it but somehow the supermodel can pull it off. As usual Pete had his favorite accessory, a cigarette in hand, while Kate glistened in gold. Here's more:
Headline-friendly couple Kate Moss and Pete Doherty managed to make an even bigger impression, however. The Croydon-born beauty and her rock star beau were both wearing striking Philip Treacy designs over their peepers at the exclusive bash.
Lots more pics of Gisele Bunchen, Lizzy Jagger, Designer Roland Moret, Jerry Hall and many more so just read more
Britney and K-Fed are evidently now partying in separate circles, and even dancing with other people. We bet this is just an exaggeration but it does make us wonder, who's home with the kids? - MSNBC
Two ex-convict brothers who escaped from prison in the 60s are suing Fox and the producer of Prison Break for stealing their life story. If these guys are the real-life Michael and Lincoln, then they should easily be able to steal it back. - AP
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is upset that Law & Order raped and killed a character of almost the same name. I can see how she would take offense but we wonder if "someone" has a friend who purposely wrote that into the show. - People

More drama from the set of Grey's Anatomy. It seem as if this show has as much going on behind the scenes as it does on screen. The latest in trying to learn more about why Isaiah lashed out at Patrick last week is US Weekly's cover story. Sources are saying Isaiah has a lot of built up resentment for Patrick. After all, they did both go for the part of Dr. McDreamy and now Patrick is landing all those magazine covers. Perhaps the feud is all a bit of jealousy. And to top it off, this is not the first time Isaiah has got into a fight on set. US Weekly reports:
“There was lingering resentment between Patrick and Isaiah before this happened,” says a set source. “It seems like Isaiah is pissed that he doesn’t get the same attention Patrick does.”
Another source of on-set tension? “Everyone on-set is intimidated by Isaiah,” says one source familiar with the day-to-day of shooting. “He’s not approachable and doesn’t chat with the cast or crew unless they’re addressing him.” “Isaiah is all about ego,” says another cast confidant. “His attitude is, ‘I’m a star. I should get all the attention.’ Few on that set like him.”
While filming the 2000 movie Dancing in September, a woman on-set says the actor made a sexist remark that made her cry. “I did nothing to deserve that,” she tells Us. Washington allegedly acted aggressively with a female costar during a scene for Soul Food in 2000, according to TMZ.com. Though he had no comment on the incident, Soul Food exec producer/writer Kevin Arkadie tells Us, “He’s mercurial…We had to have a conference now and then.”
And now Isaiah has issued an apology for the Grey's fight. He said, "I sincerely regret my actions and the unfortunate use of words during the recent incident on-set. Both are beneath my own personal standards. … I have nothing but respect for my coworkers … and have apologized personally to everyone involved."
One dress wasn't enough for Lindsay at this week's Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards. LL walked down the red carpet in one black dress, and then took the stage in another where she accepted her award for breakthrough actress. But she forgot to change her shoes! How dare she. Is this a fashion faux pas?
Hollywood continues to do its part to fight poverty and AIDS in Africa. Now a bunch of celebrities including Matt Damon, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Don Cheadle have all gotten together for a PSA to encourage people to vote. Check out the ad below and here's more about their latest cause:
The stars recently filmed a public service announcement that shows them patiently waiting their turn at a voting booth....But they're not promoting a candidate or political party. The ad is an effort to raise support for ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History.
"This is a first step in a long-term effort to start making the fight against global AIDS and extreme poverty part of the election conversation, and Americans can be part of that by joining ONE.org," Matt Damon says of the spot, which is slated to run through Nov. 7's Election Day.
"Saving lives in the world's poorest countries. Winning the fight against global AIDS and extreme poverty," Damon says in the spot. "There aren't two sides to these issues. There is only one. Please vote. ONE.org."
I can't remember the last time so many celebrities got behind a cause. What's next? A cover of "We Are The World?" It seems that it's a worthy enough cause to warrant a supergroup of popstars and an inspirational song.
Ryan and Reese are one of our favorite married couples, so it's always fun to hear about their adorable kids and details from their relationship. In this month's Interview magazine, Ryan dishes on working with Reese, keeping the mystery in their relationship and being a total sucker for Ava. Here's more:
"Sometimes I think it's a little cleaner to, at least at this stage in our lives, keep that stuff separate," he tells Interview magazine in its new issue. "I'd never write anything off completely, but I just feel like there's something to be said for the individuality and mystery of doing things on your own."
Phillippe, 32, says he'll never get used to working away from Witherspoon and their kids Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3. "That's a difficulty that I don't know if I will ever totally come to terms with. But I think I commit sometimes even further to a role because it leaves me less time to think about those things that make me feel sad, like not being around my children."
He's got one tough critic, though. "Ava just turned 7 and just started first grade," he says. "I've been down in Austin making this movie (an untitled film about Iraq directed by Kimberly Peirce), so I had the whole conversation with her where I'm getting guilted. She's like, 'You've missed my first day of school two years in a row.' She gives me a harder time than Reese, by far."
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
