Anna has been having a very tough time over the past several weeks, but she did seem to be glowing, literally, at her commitment ceremony last week. And now we get a little peek inside the big day with Howard K. Stern and new baby Dannielynn Hope. Wonder if the couple really did score $1 million for the photos. People reports:

At around 3 p.m., Stern, in a black dress suit and white shirt, and Smith, holding a bouquet of red roses, exchanged vows and Bible verses – as well as temporary rings, because the real ones weren't yet ready.
After the ceremony "we all cheered and Anna wanted to jump into the ocean," says John James, Smith's friend and the former Dynasty actor. "But there were sharks out there, so we sped back to (Sandy Cay), and then Anna and Howard jumped in."
Guests toasted them with champagne and apple cider before digging into some fresh Kentucky Fried Chicken, delivered by boat to the party. "It was fun and Anna was smiling," says James. "Howard and Anna were both crying and kissing and holding hands. It was kind of sad and happy at the same time."
Penelope has been premiering Volver for what seems like years all around the world and now the film has made it to NYC. Pretty Penelope looked fabulous and is receiving rave reviews for her role in Volver. Still no confirmation from Penelope on whether she is or isn't dating Orlando, but we do know he was no where to be found as she flashed her smile to the cameras.

Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook were on TRL this week promoting Employee Of The Month, which opens tomorrow! Jessica (say something nice) stood out in her green jacket and thigh-high boots and as usual she made her famous funny faces. Dane is my new crush, he is just so darn cute.
I was lucky enough to catch an advanced screening of Employee Of The Month last night and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The movie centers around the employees of a Costco-like warehouse store in middle America. Dax Shepard plays Vince Downey, the obnoxious Head Cashier who also happens to be the reigning Employee of the Month for seventeen straight months! Dane Cook plays Zack Bradley, a measly box boy who could not be happier about his low-profile status. That is until beautiful new cashier Amy, played by you guessed it, Jessica Simpson, transfers from store 262. The rumor is that Amy has a history of falling hard for whomever is named Employee of the Month. Energized by his quest to win Amy's heart, Zack decides to step it up and compete against Vince for the coveted title.
Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was smarter and funnier than I expected and the interaction between Dax and Dane was brilliant. Jessica did not actually have any real lines until about half way through the movie and the story was really more about the competition between Zack and Vince and less about Amy. A fun, light-hearted movie that will not disappoint! Besides, if The Departed is sold out then this is a funny alternative if you have your heart set on going to the movies this weekend.

We spent the summer calling BS on the relationship between Nicole and Brody, but then they kinda convinced us they might actually be a real couple - why else would they spend that much time together? Now after 2 months of "hanging out" the two have broken up. Apparently it was Nicole who initiated the break-up because she just wants to be single for now. US Weekly reports:
Richie's rep Nicole Perna confirms the break-up exclusively to Us, saying: "Nicole and Brody are no longer dating but remain close friends." A source says that Richie initiated the breakup today at Jenner's home in Malibu and that both Jenner, 23, and Richie, 25, agreed it was best to part ways.
"Nicole just wants to be single right now," says the source. "She felt it was a mistake to jump into a relationship so soon after her breakup with AM." Richie and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein split in May of this year after a nine-month engagement.
After US reported the break-up news, Nicole once again used her myspace to clear the air on the rumors. This time it had nothing to do with eating disorders or rehab. She wanted us to know that she and Brody were never even really together. She said, "I know there are rumors regarding my "breakup" with Brody Jenner. The truth is, we were never really together. We hung out, and he's a nice guy, but my heart was never in it. Anything further is just a cry for publicity." Damn. Did something else go down?
