Katie and Tom were doing their favorite thing this weekend. They watched Conner's football game after returning from Vegas. The couple couldn't have looked happier and Katie has every reason to be smiling. After showing off baby Suri she is now showing off her skinny body. Apparently she worked hard running and working out with a trainer to get back to her size 6 shape. Looks like all of that hard work paid off.

Jessica's dad is continuing to play the Pimp Daddy role in her life. Jess was super excited to score a part in the movie Blonde Ambition, but Joe is getting in the way and pissing off other people on the film. Page Six reports:

Jessica Simpson's new movie could have a bad ending. The beleaguered singer was psyched to start work on "Blonde Ambition," produced by "Malcolm in the Middle" star Justin Berfield. But Berfield was heard over the weekend complaining about the excessive demands her father, Joe, is making - and that they might endanger Simpson's role in the flick. A rep for Simpson said, "Well, Joe is a producer in the movie, too, so that would be weird." A rep for Berfield said, "Yes, his company is producing the movie."
Jess is in London to watch her sister make her debut in Chicago as Roxie Hart. Stay tuned for more Ashlee in Chicago news but in the meantime check out more pics of Jess not looking her normal beautiful self so read more
We knew something was up when we heard Ms. Lohan and Stavros were hanging out at Dragonfly together this weekend. Who's shocked to hear it was all a ploy to get Harry back and piss off Paris? But bad news for Lindsay, her plan doesn't seem to have worked. Harry broke up with Lindsay because she was too much drama. Page Six reports:

Lohan told Niarchos, "No one can know I got dumped . . . You will look like a total stud, and it will drive Paris crazy [if we hang out together]."
Niarchos, who fooled around with Hilton just last week, was amenable to the plan. And so the pair appeared Sunday at Dragonfly in L.A. "where they held hands and made out all night and then drove in separate cars back to [Lohan's] suite at the Chateau."
But Morton hasn't swallowed the bait. Spies say Morton, who is sober and does not like to party, broke it off with Lohan because, "She was just too much for him. He tried to calm her down and succeeded a little bit - but it was exhausting. That, and she was extremely jealous and would harass him with texts, e-mails and phone calls constantly."

One of our favorite hottie activist/actors, George Clooney told reporters yesterday that "you don't want me in politics." Mr. Clooney was speaking at an event where Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed legislation aimed at helping stop genocidal violence in the Darfur region of Sudan. Even though the sexy man knows he'd get a large amount of female votes, apparently he is not interested in running for office. Here's more:

The actor-director skillfully deflected a barrage of questions from reporters about a potential Clooney candidacy, after appearing at an event where Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed legislation aimed at helping stop genocidal violence in the Darfur region of Sudan.
Told that fans are clamoring for the "Syriana" star to run for office, he said with a subtle head shake, "Believe me, you don't want me in politics."
When asked what he thought about people wearing T-shirts urging Clooney to seek the presidency in 2008, he added, "I think they're probably kidding."
Asked again if he would try to get his name on a ballot, Clooney said, "That's a bad idea."
We may think otherwise George. However, as much as we like to see him involved in helping others, we must be selfish and say we'd much rather see him make more movies! For more pics of Clooney at the event, along with fellow activist and Ocean's castmate, Don Cheadle, read more
The most notable shows premiering tonight include Gilmore Girls and Help Me Help You. While Gilmore Girls is not new to TV, it is new to The CW and the new season kicks off tonight at 8/7c. Help Me Help You, a new sitcom, premieres tonight on ABC at 9:30/8:30c.
On last May's final episode of Gilmore Girls, Rory throws Logan a wild party to celebrate his graduation from Yale, but it's hard to enjoy it since Logan is leaving for London the next day. Meanwhile, Lorelai realizes she was wrong to let Luke postpone their wedding, tells him it's now or never and ends up in bed with Christopher. We head in to this season wondering what will happen when Rory and Logan are separated and how will Luke respond to Lorelai's ultimatum.

Help Me Help You stars Ted Danson as psychologist Bill Hoffman who specializes in group therapy. It does not take long to realize that Dr. Hoffman is probably in more need of therapy than his patients. While it's definitely not geared towards the Friends crowd, I think the show could have a shot. Ted Danson is making what some are saying is his best performance since Cheers and I think viewers may find comfort in the fact that their lives seem pretty good compared to the situations Dr. Hoffman and his patients find themselves in.
