We hate the rocker version of Jared Leto. Everything about this version of him is disappointing. The make-up, the skinny jeans and the silver crocs. Is he even serious wearing those shoes? I know they are supposed to be super comfy but I would not classify them as hard core rockers. We just want our hot Jared back.

• Tom was dumped by Paramount ending their 14 year relationship due to "controversial and sometimes erratic behavior." As if that wasn't bad enough, Crazy Cruise landed at the bottom of the stars you would most like to have as a BFF list and top of the celebs you find most sexist list. However, it looks like he is finally working on turning around his image by kinda apologizing to Brooke.
• Britney is glowing! We spotted her shopping a lot. She stood by her man as she introduced him at the Teen Choice Awards. She also got goofy playing dress up for some free swag.
• If you missed the Teen Choice Awards you missed out on a lot of lovely ladies on the red carpet and some really badly dressed stars too. Jessica co-hosted the event with help from Dane and Daisy. And the night was not without drama. Nick won an award for the song he wrote about his breakup with Jess. Awkward!
• The paparazzi love Nicole, so we saw a lot of Brody this week. The two are saying they're just friends, but they keep popping up everywhere together. We even saw Nicole and Brody's mom together at his birthday party and think we may have witnessed their first official date.
• Poor Kate; she's in love with a crack addict. She planned a wedding in Bali, but Pete couldn't get out of rehab and missed his own big day. Pete was so upset about missing his trip he totally freaked out on a nurse who suggest he attend more therapy sessions for his drug problem. He then got caught giving cocaine to a teenage drug addict in rehab.

We've been wondering why the cameras have been following Jessica around. It turns out she is going back to her roots and shooting a special for MTV. The show on her new life will air September 4th. Here's more:

J Lo's people quickly denied a statement that Jesse McCartney made in a radio interview saying J Lo dropped out of Dallas because she's pregnant. Jesse has now issued an apology. This was a genius move on Jesse's part. His new album hits stores in September. Did anyone know this before he started talking about J Lo? US Weekly reports:

“She is 100% not pregnant,” J. Lo’s rep tells Us Weekly.

A source close to Jennifer adds: “Jesse McCartney doesn’t even know Jennifer. His girlfriend has never even met Jennifer. She just got cast in the movie after Jennifer was already out. Jennifer is shooting the cover of a high fashion magazine. Do you think she could wear couture if she was pregnant?”

Jesse McCartney released a statement Friday apologizing for announcing that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant on an Atlanta radio station.

“I have no firsthand knowledge whether Jennifer Lopez is pregnant or not,” McCartney said in the statement. “I thought I had read it somewhere. I apologize.”

We love the Emmys for the fabulous fashion, but it's usually a pretty tame night. This year may be different; there may be some Aaron Spelling style drama. Candy tried to have Tori banned from attending the Emmys this year, but the Academy gave into media pressure and gave Tori and Dean a last minute invite. The two will walk down the red carpet together. My fingers are crossed we will see a Tori and Candy run-in. US Weekly reports:

“She is thrilled to be included,” says the friend. “She and Dean will walk the red carpet together.” The source says that none of the Spelling family will appear onstage for the Aaron Spelling tribute. “Tori feels vindicated. It is the right thing for [the Academy] to do.”

A source close to Tori adds, “She is happy to be there to honor her father.”

Has Gwyneth found a new way to get in shape? The actress was looking very toned in her head to toe black wet suit while vacationing in Cornwall. Gwyneth was actually taking a surf lesson. By the end of the first hour, she was standing on the board. Must be helpful that she has already learned all that balance stuff from Yoga as well.
