Brad has hired Jolie to play Mariane Pearl in the film adaptation of the author's memoir. His production company, Plan B will produce the film. Yes this is the same company he started with Jennifer and yes she was originally considered for the potentially Oscar winning role. I'm not even going to go there. People reports:

"The film will focus on the deep collaboration between people around the world in search of Daniel in 2002," Pitt tells PEOPLE. "We hope the film can increase understanding between people of all faiths and portray the story and the people involved as honestly as possible without anger or judgment."
The film will be adapted from Pearl's memoir, A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl, which chronicles her experience after her husband was abducted by Islamic extremists in Pakistan in early 2002. A month later, his captors released a video depicting his murder.
Lance was the host and the winner of Male Athlete of the Year at the ESPY Awards last night. The show doesn't air until Sunday but you can find out the winners here.

The ESPY threesome helped Lance create new material for his hosting gig last night. On the red carpet it gave reporters plenty to ask about as well. ET asked Matt about his recent split with Penelope and he said, "Well, break-ups suck, so that sucked, the breaking up,... But we did it for good and true reasons, and being a single man, I'm working a lot now." They also asked Lance about his split from Sheryl and he responded with, "Things are cool, I mean, we keep in touch primarily through e-mail, all I need to know is that she's healthy, she's happy, she's doing stuff that makes her happy, which is touring ... " No one reports on what Jake was asked.
Enough about the men....let's check out some of the fashion from last night.

Kate Hudson is everywhere this week promoting You, Me and Dupree. She was on Leno, The Today Show, The View, and TRL. The more we see of her the more we like her. She seems so normal and real and always happy. She also mentioned how she wants to write a book for new moms. The Scoop reports:

Kate Hudson wants to write a book for new moms, and will address how some women don’t feel great about themselves after giving birth. “Part of that is the way your body feels, not necessarily how it looks — especially after you’ve gained 70 pounds,” Hudson says, reports the London Sun. “I was depressed. I was the happiest, jolliest pregnant woman, then I had the baby and then I was just fat. ... I didn’t lose any weight delivering. You’re breastfeeding and you’re starving and looking at yourself in the mirror going: ‘I don’t feel good about myself.’ That is not a good feeling for any woman.”

We're all so bad and we know it. We can't get enough of the baby bump speculation. Here's the latest. Jennifer Garner was on the set of her new movie, The Kingdom and her tummy looks a little round. We thought she had already lost most of her baby weight which is why these new photos are making us wonder. Check out the photo on the left from April and compare. We think a sibling for Violet would be precious. Besides the Hollywood baby boom isn't slowing down and the latest trend is to have them very close together like Britney and Heidi Klum.

Seriously, what is up with these three? The are inseparable these days. Lance hosted the ESPY Awards last night and even cracked jokes about his new BFFs, Jake and Matt. As expected, the Brokeback Mountain jokes came into play. Here's more:

The actors, who've been photographed recently clad in Spandex and biking with Armstrong, were in the audience at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre. Armstrong, in a reference to Gyllenhaal's Brokeback Mountain role, asked why Gyllenhaal was sitting in the front when Armstrong thought he preferred to be "in the rear … of the theater."
Then, referring to McConaughey's recent PEOPLE honor, Armstrong said, "The Sexiest Man Alive is here, Matthew McConaughey. We don't all have to turn and look – we all know what he looks like. Jake, eyes up here!"
(Backstage, Armstrong told reporters, "Matthew I've known for the past seven or eight years now, and the last couple of years we've gotten closer. We just enjoy hanging out. Cycling is a sport that he doesn't know – it's a sport that I introduced him to. … We've been doing a bunch of riding. He's a true sportsman.")
