Rihanna and Chris Brown were both courtside last night at the Lakers vs. Magic game in Orlando, though they weren't sitting near each other. The rumors that the former couple had planned to be side-by-side ended up being untrue, but something still seems a little suspicious about her last-minute trip to Florida.
They've maintained their distance since allegedly splitting up months ago, so being in the same place so publicly might have been calculated. There are always famous faces in the crowd at NBA Finals games, but tell us — did something strike you as shady about Rihanna and Chris both being at that game?
Ashlee Simpson carried Bronx into their usual class in LA yesterday afternoon while Pete is off in NYC. Bronx's parents are a busy pair — Pete's often occupied with his band and his fashion label, and Ashlee's hard at work with the new Melrose Place. Buzz has an extended preview of the show, which is actually looking pretty good as we start to get us excited for its premiere this Fall.
Britney Spears headed into her hotel in London last night after finishing up another show at the O2 arena. Kevin Federline's lawyer cleared up rumors that Britney has more time than K-Fed with their sons on tour explaining that the custody agreement has not changed, just reworked to take her concerts into account. Regardless, Brit seems to enjoy being abroad with her boys and her boyfriend Jason Trawick as she continues her European tour before more performances in the US and Australia.
The Taking of Pelham 123: The Taking of Our Time, 104 Minutes I wanted The Taking of Pelham 123 to be great, or at least kinda fun — full of thrills and interesting characters with a few little one-liners tossed in. Expecting too much? Maybe. But I was disappointed, nonetheless, because it turns out this movie is predictable and forgettable.
Sienna Miller brought her sultry smile to the cover of July's Vogue. It's been almost two years since she was last on the front of the magazine, and this time she chatted all about her blockbuster GI Joe as well as her upcoming stint on Broadway in After Miss Julie. Sienna also touched on her always controversial love life, opening up about both Jude Law and Balthazar Getty. Here's more:
On Jude Law and his affair with the nanny: "It's dangerous to bring this up. I talked about him in an interview not long ago, saying that I still love him, and he was like, 'Please stop talking about it.' . . . That was a very pivotal time in my life, and I’m happy saying that. It’s a private moment when you get your heart broken for the first time, and that was the absolute antithesis of private. It couldn’t have been more public! I had people on the street being like, ‘ ’Ang in there, loov!’ and all you want to do is crawl into a cave and weep for a week."
On a friend turning her on to therapy: "She took me out to lunch — funnily enough to a restaurant called Balthazar, which I thought was hilarious, but she never commented on the irony of that — and she said, 'You've been through hell, and you need to talk about it with someone.' I got to the point where I was doing things that I didn't necessarily think I was capable of as a person. And I wanted to be conscious of my actions. I think I was really naive and trusting and thinking that if you are true to yourself, that's enough, that's the best way to be. But actually, it's important to become more conscious."
On her love life: “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception. I’m either in one or I’m not. I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”
Sienna seems to have grown a lot since her exploits last Summer, and her PR efforts just might translate into a good showing when her movie hits screens in August.
Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell smiled like a couple of boys who just got caught doing something naughty on their way out of Stringfellows strip club in London at 3:30 this morning. Ryan managed to keep himself clean, but Simon was wearing what looks like someone else's lipstick all over his face. On screen the American Idol guys' playful banter might make them seem like they don't get along, but in real life Simon and Ryan are each other's perfect wingmen whether they're poolside in Miami, hitting the waves in St Bart's, or, apparently, helping out the strip club industry in the UK.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
