Dakota Fanning held her script close to her chest yesterday after spending time working on The Runaways with Kristen Stewart in LA. The girls stuck together and left the day of work together, stopping for gas on their way home. While Kristen's had to chop her hair off and dye it black to play Joan Jett, it looks like Dakota's made it so far without having to do anything major to her own look. Her character Cherie Currie was a blonde during the band's heyday, so Dakota should be able to hang on to her own locks.

Patrick Dempsey was in Le Mans, France yesterday to practice for the city's annual 24 Hour race this Saturday. He and two teammates plan to compete in the marathon competition tomorrow, with the goal of raising money for children born with heart defects. Patrick usually fits his need for speed into his work schedule when he's filming Grey's Anatomy, but now that his show's on hiatus until next season he's even more able to dedicate himself to the track.

Kate Moss spent this afternoon at the Topshop offices meeting with her pal and boss Philip Green. She's back to work after a fun night out earlier in the week, though we really haven't seen too much of party girl Kate since her appearance at the Costume Institute Gala last month. She usually takes it easy during the Summer with more than a few bikini vacations, so it shouldn't be too long before Kate's back on a yacht and soaking up the sun.
