Ashley Olsen stripped down to strike a few moody poses for the upcoming Summer issue of V MAN, which hits newsstands this Thursday. She chatted with Marc Jacobs about her forthcoming men's collection for The Row, and the two designers also touched on her work ethic and the differences between her and Mary-Kate. Here's more:

- On doing a "celebrity line": "The way I look at it, I had a career as a child. I had a career in an industry in which the media kind of. . . they're obsessed with the young girl thing. But when I turned 18, I moved to New York, and I haven't really done anything to be a celebrity. I've been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I'm choosing for myself — to be a part of the fashion industry. . . the outside perception is very different because you do have celebrity brands, people like Jessica Simpson and Kimora Lee Simmons, and those are celebrity brands because they have their names on them."
- On working with Mary-Kate: "The Row is really something that I'm doing while my sister still wants to focus on acting. She's my partner in The Row, but she trusts me with the every day. I mean, I see her like ten times a day."
- On being different from her twin sister: "When I was 14, 15, 16, 17, it was harder because the two of us were still very similar. We had to work through what's special about us, and then the media had to work through it. . . I've never been one to engage the media to say that I'm different. I actually did the opposite and I totally went internal. I was like, "See y'all!" I want to be behind the scenes, and I don't want people to know anything about my personal life. I have a job, I take it very seriously, and I work really hard."
Ashley definitely puts in overtime as an ambassador for her brand, but we still enjoy the occasional public appearances with her man Justin.

Lindsay and Ali Lohan headed overseas to Paris yesterday, touching down and immediately shopping. Despite all the rumors of money trouble, Lindsay keeps on hitting up the luxury stores — like a stop at Balmain — though unfortunately she may have to take a good look at her inventory when she gets home. Her house in LA was broken into yesterday. Initial reports from the police say nothing was taken, the house just looked ransacked. Even if the intruder didn't end up stealing any of her possessions, it's scary to have your space so violated especially just hours after leaving town.

Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner tried to keep things stealth during lunch together in Vancouver yesterday. The two are supposedly just friends but they seem to be getting very close while they're both in town filming their movies. The overwhelming majority of you think Taylor and Selena would make a cute couple so we'll have to see if their time together in Canada ends up making a love connection. Selena's Ramona and Beezus set might not be rife with romance rumors as the New Moon one, but the city is rampant with teenage star hormones at the moment. Speaking of making the young ladies swoon — it's Robert Pattinson's birthday and to celebrate enter to win the jacket right off his back.

Lauren Conrad ducked back into her apartment building after a hike with a friend in Runyon Canyon yesterday. There are only a few more episodes left with Lauren and according to his Twitter, Spencer is ready to see Kristin Cavallari step in. While LC seems pretty immune to the drama these days, the same can't be said for The Hills where she was put in a tough situation by Stephanie at work. The rest of the cast also dealt with their own conflicts as Heidi faced off with Spencer's pretty bartender, Audrina broke things off with Justin Bobby over a shortened meal, and the phones caused trouble as usual — all of which is a reminder to Lauren why she's leaving the show behind.

Leighton Meester filmed scenes with Minka Kelly for The Roommate on Monday in LA. In the movie Leighton plays a stalker, so it sounds like a bit of Blair Waldorf's scheming could be carried into the role. Leighton will have her hands full with her music career and new movies this Summer, but that won't stop her from taking a bikini break when she has a free moment.
