Dakota Fanning stepped out in her badass little outfit to take her mother out for a Mother's Day dinner in Vancouver last night. The actress looks like she is growing up quickly in her sky-high heels, leather jacket, and Balenciaga. Dakota arrived in Canada last week to start shooting New Moon with her hot new costars. She wasn't spotted sneaking out late night like Rob and Kristen after Friday's cast get-together, but the Twilight crew is always hitting the town together. Speaking of our favorite vampire franchise — be sure to check back tomorrow for an exciting exclusive Robert Pattinson-related giveaway! You won't want to miss it.
Celebrity Apprentice: Did Trump Make the Right Decision? Last night was the three-hour battle royale for the title of The Celebrity Apprentice. Joan Rivers and Annie Duke found themselves facing each other head to head, and Donald Trump described the duo saying, "they're both tough, they're both smart, and they both hate each other."
In honor of Mother's Day yesterday, lots of our favorite celebrities took the important ladies in their lives out for a special meal or afternoon together. Whether with their kids or their own moms, it looks like it was a special day for all.
Justin Timberlake kept a low profile on the streets of NYC in his hoodie and sunglasses this morning, but he was very much in the spotlight over the weekend. As the host of SNL, he brought some big laughs, but one of his most memorable jokes was at Britney Spears's expense. JT joked that when he and Britney were dating they were pretending to be virgins but that he was actually "hitting it." You can watch the clip here, then tell us — was JT's comment out of line?
Weeds Says "Yes We Cannabis" to Season Five I admit I tapered off Weeds a bit toward the end of season four, when Nancy's now-very-serious drug dealing got to be a bit too much. But that doesn't mean I'm not curious to see what new twists and turns the Weeds folks have cooked up for us for season five.
The 2009 GLAAD Media Awards came to San Francisco Saturday, the third event in their series of traveling galas after last month's star-studded party in LA and their March bash in NYC. We had the chance to chat with Jason Lewis about reprising his role in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel and SJP's special deliveries. Simon Rex was also on hand, and he opened up about his good friend Paris Hilton and her relationship with Doug. Here's more:
Jason Lewis:
On returning in the SATC movie sequel: "[There's] a good chance, yeah."
On keeping in touch with the SATC ladies: "I see them out every now and then. We never really got on the phone with each other every day."
On SJP's twins and James Wilkie: "Congratulations! That's awesome. . . She's a really neat lady. She's obviously prolific in what she's done — she's successful — but when she brought the kid to the set, mom would come on. She's very sweet with children, you can see that joy and innocence come out of her."
