>> Balmania is clearly not entirely over. One Miu Miu dress style (two colors) scored at least three fashion magazine covers over the Summer, but in the months since, a Fall 2010 gold Balmain dress — originally worn by Anja Rubik on the runway — is besting the Miu Miu dress twice over, with six covers so far. The Balmain look was first spotted on Abbey Lee Kershaw's August 2010 Vogue Germany cover, and has since been sported on covers by Cindy Crawford, Anna Dello Russo, and Natalia Vodianova. At least one more cover may be on the way — Anne Hathaway is said to be wearing "sparkly gold" Balmain on Elle UK's December 2010 cover.
>> It's not often that a designer graces the cover of a magazine, but in celebration of a decade since its launch, 10 magazine wrangled ten "fashion gods" for ten separate covers — each photographed by the lensman of their choice. Helmut Lang sent in a passport photo, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana commissioned Terry Richardson, Vivienne Westwood had Juergen Teller capture her, Ralph Lauren was snapped by Bruce Weber, and Karl Lagerfeld submitted a self-portrait. Alber Elbaz, Azzedine Alaia, Donatella Versace, John Galliano, and Tom Ford round out the rest of the designers featured.
“These are some of the faces that have made our industry and it is an honour to be celebrating them. 10 magazine has a history of celebrating the best creative talent in the world and we are honoured that these icons of fashion agreed to be our cover stars,” said Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, the magazine's founder and editor-in-chief (who is also creative director and fashion director at Harper's Bazaar UK).
London's 10 magazine is celebrating a decade in print with hot his and hers covers for David and Victoria Beckham. The couple, who recently celebrated the same milestone in their marriage, aren't strangers to sharing spreads after their memorably sexy shoot for W. Both Beckhams opened up about their adventures in design, with Posh discussing her successful dress collection and David talking about his work with Adidas and Armani. Here's more:
- Victoria on her fashion ambitions: "I still plan to be doing this in 10, 15, 20 years time . . . So it’s got to be done right."
- Victoria on the sizing of her dresses: "My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore. And who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!"
- David on his collection for Adidas: "Much of what you see in the ObyO range is what I would happily buy myself and wear."
- David on his sometimes sexy ad images: "I still feel quite shy when I see a poster or campaign like that. It was a daunting experience stripping off in front of a room of people but after a while you get used to it — although my mum still hasn’t."

Fashionalities has look book images from Lauren Conrad's Holiday collection which will satisfy a very many young fashionista. These frocks look far more sophisticated than what we saw on the Spring 09 runway. Or perhaps that's just curation.
