Jessica Simpson is loving the CMA Music Festival! On Thursday night she hit the stage to perform her single "Come on Over" and Friday morning she was up bright and early to sign some autographs for the brand new country darling Jess fans. People were apparently lined around the block early in the morning for a photo with Miss Simpson. Even with Tony off in San Diego playing golf with JT, Jessica couldn't wipe that smile off her face. Aww.
Jessica Simpson stepped up to the mic along with some of country music's biggest names to help kick off the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville last night. Of course, Jess is no stranger to the stage, but there have to be some big-time nerves showcasing her new material to an audience who already has lots of preconceived notions about her. Considering the warm reception you all gave "Come on Over," hopefully it all went over great. Either way, she did it with a big old smile on her face, as did fellow blonde performers like Kellie Pickler, Jewel, and Taylor Swift. Jess will be taking her show to The View on June 25, which is just the beginning of promotion for the new album. Looks like we better get used to Jessica Simpson: country darling.
