Between the VMAs, Fashion Week, and the impending Emmys, it's been one busy week. In the midst of all the craziness, however, we don't want to forget about you, Toronto Film Festival. Over the course of the past eight days or so, we've seen Drew up the ante with her black-tipped hair, which was undoubtedly the most memorable hairstyle of the festival. But, have you been taking notice of other stars' hairstyles at TIFF? Click on through to find out.
Natalie Portman headed to Canada yesterday to join the fun at the Toronto Film Festival. She went casual in a white top in the afternoon for a press conference promoting her film Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, which we saw her filming last year back when it was called 17 Photos of Isabel. By evening Natalie was decked out in a pink Lanvin number to join costar Lisa Kudrow for a red carpet premiere. Natalie has been doing double duty promoting this movie and her forthcoming Brothers, and she's picked up a few unlikely fans. Her recent spread in Interview magazine, in which she confessed a love of obscene rap music, has apparently earned her the esteem of Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tang Clan.

Over the last couple of days, celebrities have been popping up at Fashion Week and the 2009 Toronto Film Festival with more than a love of cool clothing or a movie premiere in common. From Rachel Bilson to Drew Barrymore, blue and blue-green nails are everywhere. I love that these traditionally warmer-weather shades are making the seasonal transition, and the range of fashionable colors means there are flattering colors and depths of tones for practically every skin tone. From sky blue to bright turquoise, why not go under the sea with this trend? I put together a widget with some of the cutest marine colors around. Click through and dive right in.
Jennifer Garner attended The Invention of Lying premiere at the TIFF looking quite spectacular in a green tiered dress by Oscar de la Renta dress and Casadei sky-high taupe platform pumps — sizzle. The hue goes great against her brunette locks and I like how metallic silver accessories increase her sparkle. Indeed, this look is quite different from her usual playtime ensembles and I like it!

Jennifer Garner joined her costars Ricky Gervais and Rob Lowe to premiere The Invention of Lying at TIFF yesterday. At the press conference earlier in the day, Jennifer teased Ricky who wrote, directed and acted in the film, for often ruining takes with his loud shrill giggle. Jen also said she's not planning on working with her husband Ben Affleck again, although "life is long" so she's not ruling it out for the future. It sounds like the cast got along great while filming and are still enjoying each other's company as they kick off promotions for one of Buzz's top movie picks for the Fall.

Last week, we caught a glimpse of Drew Barrymore sporting this black-tipped bob while promoting her film, Whip It, in Boston. At first I wasn't sure if the dipped-in-black look was a permanent fixture in the actress's ever-changing look, but judging from her appearance earlier today at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival, it looks like these deep, dark raven-toned ends are here to stay. And in rather matchy-matchy fashion, she even chose to wear this black and yellow Alexander McQueen dress, which coordinates to perfection. What do you think of Drew's ebony ends? Are they a slam-dunk, or is it all a bit too murky for your liking?
Drew Barrymore is no stranger to extreme, psychedelic fashion. For the Whip It premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, the quirky actress donned a black and yellow webbed creation from Alexander McQueen and peep-toe heels from Casadei — notice how they complement her new black tips! The color is cheerful, like Drew, and the webbing detail is totally unique. It takes a certain personality to pull off McQueen's eccentric creations, do you think she succeeded?
I used to think wearing yellow and black would make me look like a bumble bee, but Demi Moore has proven me wrong. The actress attended The Joneses premiere at the Toronto Film Festival looking super flirty in a yellow silk ruffled dress, sleek Brian Atwood pumps, and a matching clutch. Her simple styling skills prove that the two hues can look harmonious, not dissonant, together. Color me inspired!
Many celebrities headed up north to Canada this weekend for the Toronto Film Festival. Matt Damon and George Clooney arrived fresh off their Venice Film Festival appearances, and Penelope Cruz joined in on the fun. Many more actors showed up, like David Duchovny, Megan Fox, and Demi Moore, so click through to see all the stars!
While others flocked to New York Fashion Week, Penelope Cruz, Amanda Seyfried, Megan Fox, and Jennifer Connelly made their way to Canada for the Toronto Film Festival. Each lady showed off her unique style, donning pretty frocks in a rainbow of colors. Penelope's seafoam one-shoulder confection complemented her amazing tan; Amanda's Brian Atwood pumps added a hard edge to her berry frock; Megan looked decadent and dangerous in her lace minidress; and Jennifer radiated sophistication in a tomato-red sheath and Yves Saint Laurent platform pumps. Do tell, which leading lady do you prefer?
