The glamour continued at the Venice Film Festival earlier today with Diane Kruger and a very handsome-looking Jared Leto stepping out for a photo call to support their film Mr. Nobody. The were decked out later in the afternoon as well for a premiere alongside costars Sarah Polley and Linh Dan Pham. A few of the cinema event's big names, like George Clooney and Matt Damon, have already moved on to promote their films back in North America, but Diane's still keeping the star factor high in Italy.

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana held hands as they surveyed the scene at the Venice Film Festival yesterday. Earlier this week they were all dressed up for Matt's premiere of The Informant!, but they looked casual and comfortable for their leisurely stroll and boat ride. Matt's good friend George Clooney wasn't too far away promoting his own movie, as both guys continue their Italian fun after spending time together at Lake Como.

George Clooney was a good sport yesterday during a press conference at the Venice Flm Festival when a shirtless man had a special request. As usual, George had the perfect response. Check out the funny clip in today's PopSugar Rush Update!
George Clooney let his lady shine at the Venice Fim Festival red carpet premiere of The Men Who Stare at Goats today. Elisabetta Canalis looked like she was soaking up the attention, even stopping to sign some autographs of her own on the arm of her A-list date. Her stunning blue dress stood out while they posed for cameras and took their prime seats together for the screening. George's other new movie Up in the Air is already getting great buzz — check out a new clip here — so we may get to see if Elisabetta's Cinderella moment with George lasts as long as Sarah Larson's did when Oscar season rolls around.

George Clooney had Ewan McGregor by his side earlier today at the Venice Film Festival. The duo is in Italy to promote The Men Who Stare at Goats, and this morning they were up and out for a photo call. George arrived ahead of his press obligations this weekend, so that he had a little time to tour the city with his new lady friend, Elisabetta. He's becoming a regular at the festival, following his appearance in 2007 and last year's photo ops with Brad Pitt.

Matt Damon and Luciana stepped out in their finest formal wear at the Venice Film Festival premiere of The Informant! yesterday. The duo has already made a bit of a vacation out of the trip including a date night before Matt's photo call for the film. His weight gain for the role seems to be all anyone can talk about before the movie comes out in a few weeks, but Matt was svelte as ever in his three piece suit hand in hand with his wife. Matt's friend George also dropped his anchor down at the festival yesterday so we'll see if the buddies can get in any more QT after their Lake Como weekend earlier in the Summer.

George Clooney pulled up to the Venice Film Festival on a boat with his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis yesterday. The lucky lady has been treated to George's luxurious life in Italy all Summer, apparently she's stayed around long enough to be his Venice plus one. George was sporting a bandage on his hand after slamming it in a car door a few weeks ago at his Lake Como house. While George was arriving to premiere Men Who Stare at Goats, another of his new movies — Up in the Air was wowing the audience at the Telluride Film Festival. Both movies will be released this Fall and it looks like we may get used to seeing Elisabetta as Mr. Clooney's consistent red carpet companion.

Matt and Luciana Damon left LA last week and headed to Venice to promote The Informant! at the city's film festival. They stepped out for dinner last night, before Matt was up bright and early today for a photo call with director Steven Soderbergh. Matt opened up about the process of making the movie, which involved piling on the pounds, saying, "It was probably the funniest time I ever had working because I didn't have to think 'I have to go to the gym after work', and I just basically ate everything that I could see." He's already back to his usual hot shape and adding sparkle to the cinema event with his charming smile.
