Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen took off from LAX yesterday as they gear up for a very busy and stylish month of NY Fashion Week madness. The Fall Fashion Week shows continue in NYC, with Justin Timberlake showing off his new collection for William Rast last night alongside his design partner, Trace Ayala. Jessica Biel was there in a leather jacket to see their designs after taking a snowy stroll with JT, though she changed into a strapless top to attend Victor de Souza. Nicole Richie showed off her engagement ring on the way into Nanette Lepore, where a very grownup looking Abigail Breslin caught up with Kelly Osbourne. Kelly had her eyes on the runway, but she also took a minute to open up about her upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend Luke Worrall.

Proenza Schouler brought out more big names, with Mary-Kate Olsen and Selma Blair front and center. Nicole Richie took another break from promoting her own line to check out designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez's new clothes, a sight which even caused Anna Wintour to take her sunglasses off! All eyes have been on the runway in NYC this week, but when Nicole Richie arrived at the Nanette Lepore show earlier today everyone focused on her left hand. Nicole unexpectedly announced her engagement to Joel Madden during a taping of The Late Show that will air this Friday. Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane revealed he was commissioned by Nicole and Joel to design the band. He said, "Nicole wanted a beautiful, special ring and wanted to be intimately involved in the design," while Joel, "just wanted her to have her dream ring."

We had a chance to catch up with Gwen Stefani this morning before her L.A.M.B. presentation during New York Fashion Week — lots more to come on that later. She took a brief moment to touch on the loss of Alexander McQueen, who passed away in London last night at the age of 40. Some of his close friends like Kate Moss have expressed their sadness over his death, as we look back at his amazing runway moments and trend-setting beauty looks. Gwen, meanwhile, had this to say:

"To me, from my perspective, he was a genius. I never got to meet him, I never got to go to any of his shows. . . He's given me a few pieces that I wore one time to the Grammys, and these leather boots that come up to here [mid-thigh]. I have a couple pieces of his, he was so generous. It's so devastating, I think people are going to feel it for a long time. It's devastating."
