Rihanna's Billboard Music Awards performance with Britney Spears had a lot of people talking, including us. We wondered if the stripper pole, pillow fight, and bondage costumes were sexy or cliché. Others apparently thought it was too hot for television. This morning on Today, Rihanna brushed away any criticism, saying she was happy her fans loved it. Beyoncé Knowles took the stage during last night's Billboard Music Awards to sing her new song "Run the World (Girls)" live for the first time. The performance was full of Beyoncé's signature dance moves and some interesting background graphics. Beyoncé went on to accept the Millennium Award and gave a sweet thank you to her husband, Jay-Z, who was in the audience.
