Jessica Chastain Joins New Parents Chris and Anna at Zero Dark Thirty's Premiere

Jessica Chastain wore a bold, blue Elie Saab dress to last night's LA premiere of her film Zero Dark Thirty.

Jessica Chastain wore a bold, blue Elie Saab dress to last night's LA premiere of her film Zero Dark Thirty. The actress stars as a CIA agent instrumental in the capture of Osama bin Laden in the thriller, which was directed by The Hurt Locker's Kathryn Bigelow. Jessica was joined by her costars, including new father Chris Pratt, who had his wife, Anna Faris, by his side for the debut of the true-to-life thriller. Guests including Aaron Paul and Alexander Skarsgard were also on hand to check out the critically acclaimed film.

We spoke to Jessica on the red carpet about her character Maya. She told us she wasn't able to meet the CIA agent the character is based on, because she is undercover, but spoke to the strong women both behind the camera and on the screen in Zero Dark Thirty. She said, "When you're on set with Kathryn Bigelow, you just think, 'This is one of the greatest directors I've ever worked with.' And that's it. Full stop. You don't think, 'And she's a woman!' She's just really good at her job, like Maya in the film is."

All the Star-Studded Emmys Parties!

The Emmys fun continued even after the show was over, with parties all across LA.

The Emmys fun continued even after the show was over, with parties all across LA. Winners, including Jon Cryer, Jon Stewart, and Julie Bowen, brought their statues along to celebrate at the annual Governors Ball. Mad Men's January Jones and Elisabeth Moss chatted at the bash, and outstanding supporting actor winner Aaron Paul got love from fiancée Lauren Parsekian. Heidi Klum got in on the action despite Project Runway losing for the eighth time, and Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet proudly showed off his latest statue.

Another crop of stars showed up at LA's Pacific Design Center for HBO's official post-Emmys fete. Claire Danes cozied up to husband Hugh Dancy and her gold at a table with friends while Julianne Moore and Sofia Vergara celebrated nearby. Alexander Skarsgard, Ashlee Simpson, and Lucy Liu mingled inside, and Girls' Lena Dunham made an appearance in her Prada gown.

The party-hopping continued at a Fox-hosted event, where Sofia and Julie shared a laugh and Zooey Deschanel posed with pal Mindy Kaling. Homeland's Morena Baccarin stopped to talk with her costar Claire, and Zachary Quinto congratulated Jessica Lange on her big win. Not ready for the small-screen excitement to end? Aaron Paul Talks Breaking Bad's End in Emmy Press Room: "I Hope Jesse Survives"

Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul was up against costar Giancarlo Esposito for outstanding supporting actor in a drama, but it was Paul who took the Emmy home.

Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul was up against costar Giancarlo Esposito for outstanding supporting actor in a drama, but it was Paul who took the Emmy home. In the Emmy press room, the actor was more than a little surprised that he won over Esposito, but he also expressed his happiness about the honor as well. Paul also talked about the upcoming end of Breaking Bad and how he doesn't want to see it end.

On not thinking he was going to win: "I don't know if you saw my speech — I was out of my head. I truly did not expect this whatsoever, so I didn't prepare anything. I was just shaking and trying not to sob."

On encountering costar Giancarlo Esposito, who he was up against: "I cried in his arms. I said, 'It doesn't make sense to me that I was on that stage and you were not.' I just didn't know what to say to him. What he has done with Gustavo Fring is impeccable. It's so bizarre that I am standing in front of you all right now."

On being a two-time Emmy winner: "That's so bizarre. It's unreal that I am able to do what I've always dreamt to do. I'm so humbled and honored."

On where he'll keep his new Emmy: "I'm going to carry it around with me for a while. I don't know. Maybe next to the other one. It's in the living room."

On whether he'll be disappointed if Breaking Bad gets a happy ending: "I don't think that's what our fans want. It's not going to be a fairy-tale ending. I hope Jesse survives. I think he deserves to survive."

Smashed Trailer: Aaron Paul Deals With a Substance Abuse Issue (It's Not Meth)

What happens when your beloved spouse gets sober but you don't have any plans to?

What happens when your beloved spouse gets sober but you don't have any plans to? That's the question that Smashed deals with. Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and Aaron Paul play Kate and Charlie, a young husband and wife whose lives are forced into a new direction when Kate realizes her partying has gotten out of control. Charlie wants to be supportive, but support takes on a new meaning when Kate tells him she'd prefer if he didn't drink either. Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Mary Kay Place, and Octavia Spencer all costar in the drama.

Watching this trailer, I'm reminded of similar stories of sobriety like 2000's 28 Days and 2008's Rachel Getting Married. This one, however, deals with the very tender dynamic of a husband and wife relationship. I can't think of someone to better pull off this role than Paul, who I've been hoping would use his hiatuses from Breaking Bad to do some feature film work. Smashed performed well with critics at Sundance and it also showed at the Toronto International Film Festival, but you can see it when it comes out in theaters on Oct. 12. Watch the trailer when you read more.

Claire Danes Wins Big at the TCA Awards With Husband Hugh Dancy

Claire Danes touched down at LAX on Friday with her husband, Hugh Dancy.

Claire Danes touched down at LAX on Friday with her husband, Hugh Dancy. She headed West to attend the TCA Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday. Claire won a statue for best individual achievement in drama thanks to her work on Showtime's Homeland. Further honors went to Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's Breaking Bad, which nabbed best drama. Last night, Showtime toasted her win at a 2012 Summer TCA bash with the stars of CW and CBS as well. Claire didn't attend, but Rachel Bilson and AnnaLynne McCord were among the many celebs who did.

Claire has a lot to look forward to in the coming year. She and Hugh announced that they're expecting their first child. Earlier this month, Claire showed off her baby bump on the set of Homeland. She also recently learned she's up for a best actress in a drama series Emmy, an honor she won last year. Her hit show will return for its second season in September.
