Britney Spears was back in fine form when she hosted the Wango Tango music festival in Carson, CA, yesterday. She was joined by her former kindred X Factor judge Demi Lovato as well as performers Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Britney wore a formfitting black dress as she took the stage to introduce the acts, marking her first onstage appearance since she left The X Factor back in January. While she didn't perform this time around, Britney fans will get a chance to see the singer perform live soon as she confirmed last week that she will be taking up a residency in Las Vegas. The concert series, which will reportedly be held at Planet Hollywood, will begin in the Fall. Preparing for Sin City isn't the only thing on Britney's mind — she recently tweeted that she is reading The Goddess Inheritance, a YA novel by Aimee Carter.

Rihanna changed out of the custom Azzedine Alaïa frock she wore to the big event and into a belly-baring white dress to attend an afterparty at the Supperclub with Chris Brown. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake hosted a private event at the Hollywood Palladium, where he performed in front of an excited crowd. His post-Grammys show would mark one of several gigs that night — he also made a splashy return to performing on TV at the Grammys earlier that evening. Justin and Rihanna's parties weren't the only big shindigs for the night. Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, John Mayer, and Lena Dunham were all spotted enjoying the town after the Grammys festivities.

"YOLO," the phrase Drake coined and made into a household phrase (at least for those attuned to hip-hop culture), got flipped upside down this weekend by Saturday Night Live host Adam Levine. Levine enlisted a little help for the digital short from Lonely Island, including SNL alum Andy Samberg, and the foursome donned suits to school the audience on the dangers of "You Only Live Once." (Digital short aficionados may remember the first time Levine teamed up with Samberg, for "Iran So Far"). Their advice? Avoid stairs and saunas, don't travel, and build a bomb shelter. It's a cautionary tale and a much-welcome return to the digital-short platform for the show. Levine nails it, and the night's musical guest, Kendrick Lamar, even gets in on the action. Taylor Swift and LL Cool J had emcee duties at last night's Grammys Live Nominations Concert in Nashville. She traveled to Tennessee after a fun few days shacking up with new guy Harry Styles in the Big Apple. Taylor and Harry shared a couple sleepovers at her hotel before duty brought her to the next stop on her world-traveling itinerary.

Yesterday, though, was all about business. She helped announce those in the running for the 2013 Grammys — check out the full list of 2013 Grammys Nominees! Taylor grabbed three nods herself, but Kanye West and Jay-Z lead the pack with six nominations for Watch the Throne. The band fun. was on hand to perform during the show and get some good news of their own. Other artists like Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, and Sheryl Crow also joined the fun in Nashville. The Grammys air Feb. 10 on CBS.

A usual face in the front row at the Staples Center, David cheered on the basketball squad with Robbie, an Irish player, on one side and Adam Levine on the other. Adam and David got into the action, though only one brought along their significant other — Adam had his model girlfriend, Behati Prinsloo, by his side, but Victoria Beckham stayed home. Despite the sports action, Adam still took time to send his well wishes to those suffering in the wake of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast. Adam tweeted, "Sending love to those who need it on the east coast. You are all in our thoughts."

There were plenty more stars on hand in addition to David and Adam. Katy Perry stayed close to her dad and far away from her ex-husband, Russell Brand. Zac Efron was also there to cheer for the Lakers despite their 91-99 loss to the visiting Mavericks.
