Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were among those who traveled to upstate New York over the weekend for Amber Tamblyn and David Cross's wedding. Amber and Blake have been pals since their Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants days, and their other two costars, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera, also traveled to the nuptials, along with famous friends like Amy Poehler and Questlove, who Instagrammed pictures from the busy weekend.

Amber wore a yellow dress and went shoeless for her big day. Amber, 29, and David, 48, had Yo La Tengo as their wedding band, with Questlove as the DJ. It was Amber's turn to have the spotlight after the Traveling Pants gang attended Blake and Ryan's South Carolina wedding just last month.

The guest list was star-studded with Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O'Connell, and Mark Indelicato in attendance. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants contingent was well-represented too, with Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively on hand. Blake, however, did not bring along her recent love interest, Leonardo DiCaprio. America and Ryan were engaged for just over a year, as she debuted her diamond ring last June at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland. Her most recent acting work was a recurring role on The Good Wife, and hopefully America has enough time off to honeymoon with Ryan before she starts doing voice work for How to Train Your Dragon 2. Congrats to the happy couple.

Bones duo Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz dropped in on the party, as did Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein from the medical drama House. Cory's costars Chris Colfer and Matthew Morrison were back together this morning to join Conan O'Brien and How I Met Your Mother's Jason Segel and Neil Patrick Harris for the Funny Men in TV panel. Many of Hollywood's leading ladies stepped out in NYC last night for the annual Gotham Independent Film Awards. Anne Hathaway celebrated her appointment as cohost of next year's Oscars in her Dolce & Gabbana dress, and she spoke about her excitement over the honor. She said, "I found out that I'm one of three women to host since . . . I think it was 1987. Maybe I'm the fourth, I'm not sure. I'm still learning all the amazing statistics that I almost don't want to know because it gets a little bit too intimidating." Black Swan's Natalie Portman, in a piece from Lanvin for H&M, and an Oscar de la Renta-sporting Mila Kunis were there to watch as their director, Darren Aronofsky, took home a prize for his work — check out the evening's other winners. Leighton Meester was back in the US after a quick trip to Spain to make a daring appearance in a Thom Browne suit along with a maxidress-wearing Amanda Peet and a Lanvin-clad Julianne Moore.

James Franco Surrounds Himself With Pretty Girls and Famous Vampires at 127 Hours LA Premiere

James Franco was joined by lots of famous friends and family last night at the LA premiere of 127 Hours, just one day after he attended the film's NY red carpet.

James Franco was joined by lots of famous friends and family last night at the LA premiere of 127 Hours, just one day after he attended the film's NY red carpet. James, who plays hiker Aron Ralston in the movie, told us filming was extremely demanding and weighed in on the buzzed-about amputation scene. James thinks the gore has caused some people to faint because of the strong emotional connection they make to the real-life story. James's younger brother Dave Franco came to support his sibling, as did several stars of True Blood, Twilight's Kellan Lutz, and dad-to-be Orlando Bloom. Even with the impressive celebrity turnout, the spotlight was on James all night — his costar, Kate Mara, gushed to us that working with the multitalented star was simply "incredible." 127 Hours is out later this month and Buzz says it's among the November releases that may make you feel thankful this season.

127 Hours Trailer: Rock, James Franco, Hard Place

I'm continually baffled by the volume of work James Franco is able to churn out (seriously, does this man ever sleep?) but here we have a new look at yet another of his many projects.

I'm continually baffled by the volume of work James Franco is able to churn out (seriously, does this man ever sleep?) but here we have a new look at yet another of his many projects. In Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, Franco stars as Aron Ralston, the real-life mountain climber who got stuck among boulders during an excursion in Utah. The trailer starts off like a CoverGirl commercial: easy, breezy, beautiful. Franco bikes around gorgeous landscapes, impresses some ladies with his nature skills, and takes them on an adventure to get a closer look at their surroundings.

Unfortunately, the fun doesn't last for very long. Aron gets stuck and screams for help, but no one is around to hear his cries. Thus begins the titular 127 hours of waiting, and if you're at all familiar with the news story, you know the rest isn't exactly a picnic. The film will undoubtedly give Franco yet another vehicle to show off his acting range, and I can't wait to see the finished product —no matter how much it makes me squirm. The film hits theaters on November 5, and you can watch the trailer after the jump
