Many of music's biggest names stepped out at the American Music Awards in LA tonight. The ladies, including Kelly Rowland, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj, brought the glamour with their red-carpet looks. Performer and nominee Taylor Swift sparkled in a Zuhair Murad mini while Pink, who arrived with husband Carey Hart, went long in Catherine Deane. Carrie Underwood chose a colorful lace look by Abed Mahfouz before taking the stage to perform during the show. Gwen Stefani switched things up in an embellished Balmain jacket and leather leggings as she arrived with her No Doubt bandmates, and Jordin Sparks showed skin in a cutout Etro gown on the arm of boyfriend Jason Derulo. Justin Bieber brought his mom to the show after spending time with on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez over the weekend. A red carpet always calls for amped-up glamour, but the eyelashes at the 2012 American Music Awards were above and beyond. With loads of mascara and plenty of false lashes thrown in for good measure, three ladies made this look something to talk about. Always one for over-the-top style, Nicki Minaj donned heavy top lashes that brought a seductive edge to her appearance. Taking the mod look to modern times, Ginnifer Goodwin exaggerated her bottom lashes by clumping them together and adding multiple coats of mascara. And Ke$ha kept things even more alluring with fanned-out lower lashes that you could see across the room.

To nail the trend, reach for a lengthening mascara, such as Benefit They're Real! Mascara ($23), or pick up a pack of individual lashes, like these ones from Make Up For Ever ($16). Whichever method you choose, you'll be sure to make a showstopping statement.
