The Ronson family gathered at Bar Marmont in LA on Friday to celebrate Charlotte's I Heart Ronson JCPenney collection. Celebrity guests included Nicole Richie, the Hilton sisters, and Rashida Jones, but noticeably absent was Lindsay Lohan. Samantha apparently banned Lindsay from coming but LL still tried and had to be restrained by five bouncers at the door when she showed up. Despite the drama, Sam kept busy with her music as their mom Ann Dexter-Jones snapped photos and Mark helped provide the tunes. Lindsay's erratic behavior, including unexpectedly joining Lily Allen on stage last week, has some worried, and with rumors that things might be over for real this time between her and Samantha, maybe LL can concentrate her actions on her career again.

Lindsay Lohan smiled as she poured herself a drink with Samantha Ronson's mom in London over the weekend before heading back to LA with her blue Alexander Wang bag in hand yesterday. She and Samantha apparently had fun cuddling and kissing on their way overseas, and the good mood stayed for the weekend. During their time in London, Lindsay and Samantha stopped by a synagogue and there are more rumors Lindsay is contemplating a conversion to Judaism. She updated her Facebook profile to say "I'm converting," though we know by now that nothing's official until she announces it on her MySpace blog.

Many an A-lister made the trek to Dubai today to celebrate the grand opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson traveled from London to join Sam's mother Ann Dexter-Jones, while Mischa Barton will show up anywhere there's a red carpet. The eclectic crew, which included Mary-Kate Olsen all draped in white, Gerard Butler, Charlize Theron, and Stuart Townsend, was treated to dinner and an elaborate performance from Kylie Minogue. Only a truly lavish affair would attract so many stars to such a distant place, and it seems like opulent Dubai isn't feeling too pinched by the global credit crisis.

It was a star-studded hot pink carpet last night at the Juicy Couture 5th Avenue flagship store opening in NYC. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley arrived together and smiled and chatted with fans, while Sarah Michelle Gellar struck a pose for the photographers. Jessica Szohr and Emma Roberts showed off their bright Juicy dresses, and Emma blushed when she revealed her celebrity crush is Nick Jonas. • On a possible sequel to Sex and the City: "I’ve been hearing about it just at dinner, from Kim Cattrall doing all this confirmation stuff. I don’t know anything about it."
• On reprising his role of Smith: "You know what, I would do anything they asked me to do. They were so kind to me, if they wanted me to go over there and move lights I probably would do that for them."

Although Jason might not have the scoop on whether we should break out the cosmos again, we'd hope he'd be back as Smith on the big screen again.

Harvey Weinstein hosted an Election Night Party at Public House in NYC yesterday as everyone got together to watch Barack Obama elected President. James Franco beamed and hugged everyone around him. Jessica Alba posed with Taylor Momsen, who's not old enough to vote but still got in on the excitement. Jessica said of the election, "I think we all have to start to see the change we are waiting for. We need more people that think like him . . . that are, I don't know, thoughtful?" As for Obama's first order of business, "Helping Americans understand that you are part of the world and can't isolate yourself so much." Overall, the mood was one of joy as people cheered out of their windows and cars in celebration.

Lindsay Lohan posed backstage with Samantha and Charlotte Ronson at Charlotte's fashion show in Tokyo earlier today. While she's overseas, lots of not-so-fun news is waiting for LL back in the states. She is being sued by the three men involved in her second DUI, and there are rumors that she's been flirting with Chace Crawford. Lindsay is staying out of the drama by staying close to the Ronson family as usual. Last night their mom, Ann Dexter-Jones, spoke about Samantha and Lindsay on the Chanel red carpet. Here's more:

• On Sam's grounding influence on LL: "They are a cute couple. Samantha is very grounded, super smart, very grounded and very real. I just think if my daughter is happy I’m happy."
• On their relationship being scrutinized by the public: "I think it makes it very hard for them. I think it’s hard for anybody. You can't — can’t you have a good old bonding with your other half, and nobody cares? I mean Samantha can handle it. It’s a concern — I’m naturally concerned. As a mother it takes the pleasure away if they get hounded. But it goes with the territory."
• On her favorite moment spending time with LL and Sam: "Just kicking back. I’ve got a new apartment on 9th street, I just bought a new place. I have 3 chairs and a bed. [laughs] Waiting for the wrecking crew. So they just came over and hung out for hours sitting on these uncomfortable chairs. That means you are having a good time."

Lindsay and Sam are having fun and lucky to have such a loving support system in the entire Ronson family.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson happily gazed into each other's eyes while on their way to dinner with both of their mothers last night. The foursome went to Bar Pitti in NYC showing once again how close the two families have become. LL and Sam were apparently spotted buying a lot of baby clothes recently, but the two deny that either of them is pregnant . . . obviously.

After spending Tuesday night with her family in NYC, Lindsay Lohan was back to doing what she does best: shopping. Yesterday she was joined by her sister, Samantha Ronson, and Samantha's mother, the British socialite Ann Dexter-Jones. LL's family thinks highly of Samantha, so hopefully she and Ann had a little time to bond as well. While the girls have been overly affectionate, some of you say that is all normal behavior amongst BFFs. Of course, it's not all play for Lindsay since she has some new music coming out. Ne-Yo wrote a song on her upcoming album and said that, "She did a ridiculously fabulous job. . . I think the world is gonna be surprised." Some of her past tunes are catchy so we're excited to see how this one turns out.
