Whose Punk Beauty Reigned Supreme? Vote Now!

The hair and makeup at the Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is consistently some of the best of the year.

The hair and makeup at the Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is consistently some of the best of the year. And with a theme centering around the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit, high drama was a must-have look. But surprisingly, the best looks of the evening ran the gamut of sophisticated rebel to all-out rocker.

Sarah Jessica Parker wowed the red carpet congregation with an over-the-top Trojan headpiece that was nestled among a twisting collection of fishtail braids. Nicole Richie was also a surprising arrival, sporting a wispy, gray beehive that was part powdered wig and part punk. Speaking of wigs, Madonna opted for a Bettie Page-inspired hairpiece, complete with short, blunt bangs.

Moving on to the blondes of the ball, Sienna Miller went all-out grunge with a seriously textured hairstyle embellished with a studded hairpiece, inky black liner, and a nude lipstick. And in one of the more jaw-dropping moments of the evening, Anne Hathaway stunned with a peroxide blond pompadour, accented with lavender shadow and loads of liner.

Whether they were giving punk a sophisticated spin or going completely chaotic, these five ladies stole the show in their own right. But who was your pick for the best punk beauty look of the Met Gala?

Thanks to their black, sheer, and lacy gowns, this style set may have just had some of the sultriest looks to hit the Met Gala staircase. Joan Smalls perfected her supermodel smolder in a body-conscious embroidered Tom Ford gown — proof that covered up doesn't have to be conservative. Alexa Chung embraced the Gala's subversive theme and channeled her sexier side with a sheer-inset Erdem look, as did Allison Williams, who delivered a more provocative look than we're used to, wearing a black Altuzarra gown. Adding to the list of attendees who ditched their usual "good girl" persona, Anne Hathaway showed off a dramatic vintage Valentino gown, made all the more striking with see-through fabric and a high-shine finish. Now it's time to weigh in — which of the starlets' sheer gowns gets your vote?

The actress not only slipped into a sultry, sheer vintage Valentino gown, but she also showed off a new punky bleach-blond hair color — a look she says was inspired by Debbie Harry. Sandal Boots Sweep the Celebrity World — Are You Into Them?

Sandal boots first emerged on the Fall 2013 catwalks, but it seems they've already infiltrated celebrity circles.

Sandal boots first emerged on the Fall 2013 catwalks, but it seems they've already infiltrated celebrity circles. Anne Hathaway was one of the first to rock Tom Ford's black patent buckled sandal boots — which were said to be custom-made vegan — with her black taffeta Tom Ford gown at the NYC premiere of Les Misérables back in December. Rihanna rocked the same Tom Ford sandal boots in nude with a Mary Katrantzou tee and Siwy shorts during a recent night out in NYC, while Selena Gomez edged up her black trench coat with black Brian Atwood cutout sandal boots for her appearance on the David Letterman in NYC. No doubt about it: this is an extremely difficult trend to pull off, so we give these ladies major props. Give sandal boots some thought, then tell us: are you into them?
