Celeb Style: Krysten Ritter

With party season just around the corner, I thought I'd spotlight this flirty holiday-appropriate ensemble from BFF & Baby star Krysten Ritter.

With party season just around the corner, I thought I'd spotlight this flirty holiday-appropriate ensemble from BFF & Baby star Krysten Ritter. For a party in LA, Krysten chose an asymmetrical Alexander Wang dress and strappy lace-up heels — perfect look for a seasonal bash. Get the same look when you pair a black one-shoulder top with a drapey gold pencil skirt. Next, add a sexy pair of lace-up heels and a studded clutch. A look this sultry should be light on accessories, so just throw on a cocktail ring and get ready to party. Click the items above to start shopping!

Alexander Skarsgard Comes Bearing Gifts to Visit Kate Bosworth on Set

Alexander Skarsgard showed up with food in hand on the BFF and Baby set to visit Kate Bosworth in LA yesterday.

Alexander Skarsgard showed up with food in hand on the BFF and Baby set to visit Kate Bosworth in LA yesterday. He made the trip to her trailer just in time, since the movie is apparently already wrapping things up after only a few weeks of filming. Kate's time filming included some silly moments with costars Krysten Ritter and Rachel Bilson, a racy makeout scene, and a cameo from Lauren Conrad. She'll soon take a break from comedy to start promoting her action movie, The Warrior's Way, which will be released next month. Her travel schedule for the film might take her away from Alexander, but the couple have logged plenty of quality time while they've both been in CA.

Lauren Conrad Puts Her Reality Spin on the Big Screen

Lauren Conrad stopped by the set of BFF and Baby, in which she's playing herself in a cameo, in LA on Friday afternoon.

Lauren Conrad stopped by the set of BFF and Baby, in which she's playing herself in a cameo, in LA on Friday afternoon. The movie stars Kate Bosworth and Krysten Ritter and will also include Rachel Bilson and some steamy scenes with Justin Kirk. LC's used to being in front of the camera, especially now that she's started shooting her new reality show. The series follows her as she launches her latest fashion line, though she took a break for some fun with a friend in NYC over the weekend.

Kate Bosworth Steams Up the Set of BFF & Baby With Justin Kirk

Kate Bosworth sported skimpy shorts as she filmed an intense makeout scene with Weeds star Justin Kirk for their new romantic comedy, BFF & Baby, today in LA.

Kate Bosworth sported skimpy shorts as she filmed an intense makeout scene with Weeds star Justin Kirk for their new romantic comedy, BFF & Baby, today in LA. The cast also includes Krysten Ritter, Geoff Stults, and Rachel Bilson and features a cameo from Lauren Conrad. Kate and Krysten have been palling around on set and cracking each other up since they started shooting together earlier this week. Kate may be locking lips with Justin at work, but when the cameras stop rolling, she's still going strong with True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard. Despite rumors of trouble over the Summer, the duo have gone on movie dates, stopped by award shows, and attended parties together in recent weeks.

BFF & Baby Breeds Great Style

We're thrilled to present our favorite InStyle story here on Fab!

We're thrilled to present our favorite InStyle story here on Fab!

We could not be more excited about a film starring three of our favorite actresses: Kate Bosworth, Krysten Ritter, and InStyle contributor Rachel Bilson. But then they had to go and add in tremendous fashion too! It’s almost too much. Almost. We spoke to the movie’s stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, and this is what she had to say: “I wanted the wardrobe to be stylish but in a subtle way, and not take away from the story of these girls. Kate’s character has a really ’90s minimalist look, which is nice because that’s so big right now, and it really suited her—lots of white and pale green and beige. Calvin Klein Collection is basically dressing her for the whole movie and they do that aesthetic so beautifully. With Krysten’s character we went in the other direction: lots of florals and girlie colors. She’s almost a little more grunge. And Rachel’s character is a little more farm girl so she wears lots of gingham…a little Brigitte Bardot meets Daisy Duke.” Click through the gallery to see some images from the set and find out exactly what the chic trio is wearing!

Kate and Krysten Laugh It Up on the Set of Their New Comedy

Kate Bosworth and Krysten Ritter shared jokes and burgers yesterday with Justin Kirk and Geoff Stults on the LA set of BFF and Baby.

Kate Bosworth and Krysten Ritter shared jokes and burgers yesterday with Justin Kirk and Geoff Stults on the LA set of BFF and Baby. Krysten cowrote the comedy, which follows a young woman's struggles to cope when her closest friend becomes a mom. Kate recently joined the cast of the Apatow-esque film, but she's let off steam when not working by stepping out for parties and having date nights with Alexander Skarsgard. The girls will soon welcome costar Rachel Bilson, but for now it's just Krysten and Kate who are getting close.

Kate Bosworth + Krysten Ritter = BFF

I've mentioned in the past that Krysten Ritter can often be found playing the quirky best friend, and she's really embracing the pigeon hole for her next film.

I've mentioned in the past that Krysten Ritter can often be found playing the quirky best friend, and she's really embracing the pigeon hole for her next film. She's teaming up with Kate Bosworth for BFF & Baby, about how the friendship between the two ladies changes when Ritter's character starts a family.

Ritter cowrote the script, but I'm still a little skeptical of what brand of humor we can expect. I'm just hoping it will be a wittier portrayal of women in their 20s than, say, Bride Wars and won't fall into the trap of making obvious pregnancy and mommy jokes.
