Michael Douglas was the man of the evening last night as he received an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in LA. He hit the red carpet on the arm of his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, while his Ghosts of Girlfriends Past costar Matthew McConaughey brought along Camila Alves. Kiefer Sutherland and Tobey Maguire took the stage to pay tribute to their pal Michael, and Catherine even brought out her Chicago skills for a song-and-dance number in her husband's honor. Michael's been a Hollywood heavyweight for decades, but we'll see more of him on the big screen in the Wall Street sequel and, according to Catherine, a project they're looking to star in together.

At the premiere of X Files: I Want To Believe, the ubiquitous Bai Ling arrived with her hair in a perky ponytail. What caught my attention the most was that it was actually one solid shade of shiny black (well, at least it was in the front; the back still had a few highlights). We've seen her sporting shocking red and even light, caramel-colored streaks (unless they are extensions) recently too, but out of these three looks, which hair color do you prefer on her?
Last night the LA premiere of X-Files reunited David Duchovny (who is looking in need of a haircut) and a pregnant Gillian Anderson. The FBI agents have a new set of costars, including the adorable Amanda Peet who looked beautiful in her fancy feathered dress. Diane Kruger went uncharacteristically casual, but of course pulled it off looking fabulous in jeans and a basic tee. We've been looking forward to the sequel for a while, but so far the reviews are mixed. Stay tuned for Buzz's review and probably more news from Comic-Con. Lucky for us if Agent Mulder doesn't score the top spot this weekend at the box office, then at least we can watch David as a witty jack*ss in Californication this Fall on Showtime!

John Legend and Joel Madden were just a few of the stars that came out last night for the Billabong Second Annual Design for Humanity to Benefit Surfrider Foundation in LA. The foundation works to protect our oceans, so naturally eco-friendly Adrian Grenier made an appearance with his girlfriend Isabel Lucas. Adrian's been working overtime to encourage us to go green, kicking off his Alter Eco series last night — check out a clip of the show here. Mischa Barton and Audrina Patridge also came out to show the love for those beaches they spend so much time at, which is a good thing since we know how much these two love to show off their bikini bodies.

Lindsay Lohan spent another night playing groupie as Samantha Ronson showed off her spinning skills at two different parties. First on the agenda was G-Star LA Raw Night, where LL made small talk with Dennis Hopper before the ladies continued their night of work and play at a N.E.R.D. concert preparty. As we all continue to wonder about the extent of their relationship, Lindsay and Samantha's friends have been gushing about how great it is to see the girls together in a close, trustworthy friendship that makes them both happy. Romantic or not, it's easy to see that this is one of the more healthy relationships Lindsay has had in a long time.
