The Fashion Week fun kept coming yesterday in NYC, with Vanessa Hudgens continuing her front-row occupation by attending the Diesel Black Gold presentation alongside Chace Crawford. Vanessa, who's enjoying her very first immersion at the Lincoln Center tents, kept the photographs coming when she checked out hot pink-embellished Tibi with Olivia Palermo. Kirsten Dunst and Sofia Coppola joined forces with Kanye West himself to see the latest Rodarte creations, as Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld supported her pal Narciso Rodriguez. Rachel Roy, meanwhile, had Olivia and Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter turn out to see her knit-heavy collection. Michael Kors welcomed pals Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas to his show today, along with Emma Roberts, Bette Midler, Debra Messing, and Anjelica Huston. Vanessa treated herself to another day of dressing up as well for this morning's Yigal Azrouel extravaganza with Boardwalk Empire's Paz de la Huerta. Fashion's Night Out Succeeds With Tons of Stars and Parties!

Manhattan was buzzing last night with all the excitement of Fashion's Night Out.

Manhattan was buzzing last night with all the excitement of Fashion's Night Out. It was an amazing way to help kick off New York Fashion Week across the city. Celebrities were out in full force to support the event, holding court at different stores while fans and press mingled, shopped, and spotted the well-dressed stars. Anna Wintour bounced between locations posing with her fashion-icon friends like Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, and Sienna Miller. The Miller sisters were the guests of honor at the Intermix boutique, while Lindsay Lohan hit up Bloomingdales. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were surrounded by crazy security — maybe the most of anyone — for their appearance at Barney's. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham was incredibly gracious despite the crowd at Bergdorf Goodman, posing with fans and pouting for cameras.

Nicky Hilton and Rachel Zoe were a vision together at the Bally party, while Sarah Jessica Parker laughed with Oscar de la Renta and Barbara Walters at Oscar's boutique. Charlize Theron signed copies of her Vogue September issue while Rihanna sauntered into events with all eyes on her daring black outfit, and Blake Lively held down the preppy front at Ralph Lauren. We have great video from the night — as well as an interview with Gwen Stefani after showing off her new line — all coming up soon, so stay tuned! Plus, don't miss any of our live Fashion Week coverage here.

The Ladies of The Women Bring Their Party to NYC

Eva Mendes took a break from all her Fashion Week duties last night to attend a screening of The Women in NYC with her costars Jada Pinkett Smith, Meg Ryan, and Debi Mazar.

Eva Mendes took a break from all her Fashion Week duties last night to attend a screening of The Women in NYC with her costars Jada Pinkett Smith, Meg Ryan, and Debi Mazar. Unlike last week's big premiere in LA, Annette Bening and Debra Messing sat this one out, but Julia Stiles and Bette Midler stepped in. Even Mick Jagger, who is one of the film's producers, joined them for the afterparty at the Gramercy Park Hotel — though it probably wasn't hard to convince him to spend the evening surrounded by beautiful ladies. The reviews for this movie aren't exactly raves, but hopefully the all-star women cast can still bring out the audiences.

All the Girls Want Is a Piece of the Fashion Action

Fashion Week keeps trucking along with lots of famous faces in the front row and backstage.

Fashion Week keeps trucking along with lots of famous faces in the front row and backstage. Fresh from her Irvine show, Lauren Conrad had Lo Bosworth by her side today for Nanette Lepore, while Rachel Zoe joined Jennifer Lopez to support her recent favorite, Oscar de la Renta. The Gossip Girls went their separate ways — Blake Lively wore the designer joining Heidi Klum at Michael Kors, while Leighton Meester and a surprisingly normal-looking Juliette Lewis went out to see Phillip Lim. On top of her stop at Proenza Schouler on Monday, Mary-Kate Olsen brought along boyfriend Nate Lowman yesterday to check out her pal Benjamin Cho's collection. There are only two more days of fashion fun in NYC before things pick up again in London on Sunday.

Don't forget to check out all the news from the front row, as well as updates from Fab and Bella. To see over 50 photos from the shows, including Mary-Kate Olsen, Agyness Deyn, and Rachel Zoe, just read more

Sex and the City Premiere Glitters in Gold in NYC

Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night.

Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot). Chris Noth and more costars came out, as well as some of NYCs most stylish trendsetters like Ashley Olsen and Anna Wintour (looking perfect as usual). New theme song artist Fergie got girlie, while Jason Lewis acted goofy sticking his tongue out for the cameras. Fans are so excited for the film that they paid big bucks to attempt to attend the premiere last night. Seriously, big bucks. Clearly this weekend belongs to the girls in the city, so move over Indy!

Then She Found Me: A Sweet Treat for Mother's Day

The first thing actress-turned-director Helen Hunt's film has going for it is a capable and enchanting cast that includes Hunt, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick, and Bette Middler.

The first thing actress-turned-director Helen Hunt's film has going for it is a capable and enchanting cast that includes Hunt, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick, and Bette Middler. I have a hard time calling Then She Found Me a romantic comedy because, unlike recent additions to the genre, no one in this cast plays a scene for an easy laugh. Instead, each actor approaches his or her character as a human being — as complicated and flawed as any of us. The humor comes, as in life, with truth. Specifically, Midler's character could easily become a farcical caricature but instead is played with such restraint that the result is both touching and funny.

The movie follows April (Hunt), a middle-aged elementary school teacher who is adopted, yet when faced with trouble getting pregnant, refuses adoption as an option. Yes, Hunt is quite thin in this film, but it didn't shock me so much as it seemed like the physical state of a woman who is exhausted by her frustrating situation, which is compounded by marriage problems and a death in the family.

The joy of the movie comes from the way in which Hunt's character begins to open her heart to a new love — and to her biological mother. A touching story about motherhood? What perfect timing! To see the other reasons I enjoyed this little film, read more

Movie Preview: Then She Found Me

Prepare your "ahh"s and your "yay!"s because the trailer for Helen Hunt's directorial debut, Then She Found Me, is packed with adorable actors (Bette Midler, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick), charming moments, humor, and romance.

Prepare your "ahh"s and your "yay!"s because the trailer for Helen Hunt's directorial debut, Then She Found Me, is packed with adorable actors (Bette Midler, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick), charming moments, humor, and romance.

Helen Hunt is both director and star of this movie based on a bestselling novel by Elinor Lipman which centers around a woman who's biological mother (Midler) comes smashing into her life right as her romantic world seems to be unraveling. I'm so glad to see Hunt back to perfectly embodying the decent, intelligent woman who wears her heart on her sleeve. She described this project as a "very weird, funny story," and I can't wait to check it out.

The movie will open in limited release May 2. To take a gander at the trailer for yourself, read more
