We know she's older than our typical Mini Me, but 21–year–old beauty Sophie Frederica Alohilani is a carbon copy of her songstress mother, Bette Midler. The mother–daughter duo is due to sit down with Oprah Winfrey today to discuss life and Bette's return to the big stage. If the clone is anything like her mother, laughs will be in no short supply with the queen of talk.

The American icon's gorgeous girl Sophie, also daughter to Martin von Haselberg, is a student at Yale University, where she is a Sociology major with a concentration in East Asian studies. Keeping things in the family, Mama Bette is on the Dean's Council at the Yale School of Architecture.

The multi–talented Beaches superstar also shares a love for the environment and education. She is the founder of New York Restoration Project, which restores NYC parks in underprivileged areas. Bette, did you ever know that you're my hero?

A while back I reported on the many women who signed up for Diane English's remake of the 1939 film The Women, including Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing and Candice Bergen. Now, get ready for six more names to join the cast.

Today the following ladies are joining the project, which will apparently include an all-female cast: Bette Midler, Ana Gasteyer, Cloris Leachman, Carrie Fisher, Lynn Whitfield, Joanna Gleason, and Debi Mazar.

Looking good, ladies, looking good.
I'm excited for this project, though I think the cast could still use some more diversity. Still, done the right way, I think an all-female cast doing a remake of this classic could be really entertaining and empowering.

Billionaire Joe Hardy had a super cool 84th birthday. The owner of 84 Lumber was partying from 2 PM to 2 AM with an a-list group to provide entertainment. His kids invited Christina to sing Happy Birthday, Bette Midler performed with an orchestra and Robin Williams provided the after dinner entertainment. Lucky guy - and there's lots of love for Joe who's still able to party all night. The 12 hour event included around 500 guests.
