We're looking back at the biggest headlines of 2010, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December. Here's one of the stories that created the most buzz over the past 12 months and don't miss the rest of our Best of 2010 coverage across the network!

The six Jolie-Pitt kids each have their own style, but Shiloh's tomboyish look easily garnered the most attention and buzz in 2010. The four-year-old's penchant for kiddie combat boots, backwards baseball caps, and close-cropped hair may have caused controversy among fans, but Angelina has said she fully supports her daughter's unique choices. Even before her famous haircut, Shiloh had a love for fedoras and other hats, which she showed off in Venice while Angelina shot The Tourist. In February, Shiloh made headlines by revealing her short hairstyle during a shopping day in Paris with Brad and Zahara.

Shiloh borrowed a style tip from dad with a leather jacket as the family continued their stay in Italy. Over the Summer, Angelina was promoting Salt when she chatted about her daughter's fashion choices in Vanity Fair, dubbing Shiloh's look her "Montenegro style." Angelina also revealed that Shiloh wanted her mom to cut her famously long locks short so badly that she once burst into tears! Shiloh still holds a big place in her heart for Peter Pan and dresses up as the character when she wants to. Despite the headlines, Angelina has steadfastly let Shiloh do her thing; though it seems like by December the tot was letting her locks grow out. After a year filled with her signature fashion, it's no wonder Shiloh's in the running for the year's most stylish kid!

Alexander McQueen

2010 Biggest Headline of the Year: RIP Alexander McQueen

There were few fashion stories that shocked — and moved — the fashion world more than the death of Alexander McQueen.

There were few fashion stories that shocked — and moved — the fashion world more than the death of Alexander McQueen. Fashion Week was literally shaken with his passing in February, and the style world rallied to pay tribute to the visionary. Though paying homage to McQueen's legacy seems like it never can be paid in full, he was honored with a prize from the CFDA's special board of directors, while his vision for the design house seems to be preserved with Sarah Burton taking the reigns as McQueen's creative director. Beginning in May, the Met will host its own tribute, featuring a collection of the designer's work and "his singular voice." Of course, we'll continue to see his work on red carpets, fashion exhibits, and tomes, but the loss of this fashion provocateur came far too soon.

To remember McQueen, we've rounded up amazing tributes, the designer's work, and what's to come for the legendary design house:

Lindsay Lohan

Biggest Headline of 2010: Lindsay Lohan's Tumultuous Year of Legal and Drug Drama

Lindsay Lohan's career and personal troubles came to a head this year, as 2010 saw the starlet land in jail, rehab, and finally, sober living. She kicked off January by going on a seemingly carefree trip to St. Barts with her sister Ali, then hit the party scene in London and LA throughout February and March. She raised eyebrows when she was spotted taking a tumble during more than one of those late nights out. Michael Lohan made a public plea asking her to get help for what he alleged was a prescription pill addiction — a claim Dina Lohan dismissed. Signs that things were unraveling for Lindsay continued to reveal themselves in the Spring when she was dropped from a movie role and had a public confrontation with Michael during his attempted intervention.

In May, Lindsay missed a mandatory court date, claiming that she was stuck in France at the Cannes Film Festival after her passport went missing. Despite the excuse, the judge in her case issued a warrant for her arrest. Lindsay quickly shelled out $100,000 in bail to have the order overturned, but when she appeared in a Beverly Hills courtroom four days later, she was slapped with a SCRAM bracelet and ordered to undergo drug testing. For more than a month after that hearing, LL appeared to be staying on the straight and narrow, frequently checking in with her parole officer and spending time with her ex Samantha Ronson. LL even made an appearance at June's MTV Movie Awards, but at an afterparty her SCRAM bracelet indicated that she had been drinking. The misstep was the last straw for the judge, who sentenced a tearful Lindsay to 90 days in jail and another 90 in rehab. She headed behind bars in July, posing for what would be her third mug shot in as many years.

The actress only ended up spending 14 days in the overcrowded Lynwood jail and another 23 in rehab before being released in late August. At the end of the month, she appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair denying that she is an addict and stating that her life was on an upswing. In September, she poked fun at her reputation in a VMAs skit, but just a few short weeks later she failed a drug test and was subsequently sentenced to return to substance-abuse treatment until at least Jan. 3, 2011. In the time since, Lindsay has transitioned from rehab to sober living. On Thanksgiving, she was granted a day pass that allowed her to spend the holiday in LA, though there continues to be frequent drama with her parents. Despite those signs of improvement, she faced another setback in November when she was replaced by Malin Akerman in the movie Inferno. Once Lindsay leaves sober living, the promising young actress will have a chance to make a clean start, but only time will tell how she'll fare in 2011.

Courteney Cox

Biggest Headline of 2010: David and Courteney's Shocking Split

We're looking back at the biggest headlines of 2010, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox were picture perfect in January when they made the rounds at the Golden Globes and hit the afterparties. Nothing was out of the ordinary as she went on a bikini-filled Mexican vacation with Jennifer Aniston the next month amid rumors they'd star together in Scream 4. Jen, who joined Courteney and David for June's Crystal + Lucy Awards, ended up not being in the movie, though the couple did spend the Summer in Michigan reuniting with Wes Craven and Neve Campbell. Once filming wrapped, Courteney and David went back to LA so she could focus on the new season of Cougar Town. Her time on screen with fellow star Brian Van Holt led to rumors that the pair was more than friends in real life, though Courteney seemed to indicate things were fine with David as recently as three months ago.

However, in October, Courteney and David announced that they were separating after 11 years of marriage. She was soon spotted without her wedding ring, and David had a foot-in-mouth episode by sharing too much about their split and his single sex life while talking to Howard Stern. Both David and Courteney showed their dedication to daughter Coco, even reuniting to watch one of her horse riding competitions. David embarked on a whirlwind bachelor tour that saw him grinding with a brunette in LA and making the party rounds in NYC. Courteney, meanwhile, continued shooting alongside Brian while getting support from pal Jen. David and Courteney seem to be keeping things civil despite their separation, and posed together at a charitable event in October.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston devoted herself to new film projects and good friends in 2010. She kicked off the year by showing off her chemistry with her The Bounty Hunter costar Gerard Butler as they presented at the Golden Globes. In February, Jennifer headed South to celebrate her 41st birthday with a bikini-filled getaway to Cabo, bringing along some girlfriends and a shirtless Gerard for some fun in the sun. The pair fueled romance rumors as they posed for a sexy spread in W Magazine's March issue and got close at premieres and photo calls from NYC to Berlin. Gerard continually denied being in a relationship with Jen, despite some interesting photos from their time in Paris.

Jennifer and Gerard went their separate ways over the Summer, and she was later romantically linked to SNL's Jason Sudeikis and old friend Christopher Gartin. She went on to launch her new perfume in London and had plenty of chances to show off her swimsuit-ready shape on the set of Just Go With It alongside Adam Sandler and Brooklyn Decker in Hawaii. She and Brooklyn even went head to head in this year's bikini bracket, with Jennifer eventually taking the top spot! We delivered the news in person when we sat down with her at The Switch junket in July, when we also chatted about her friend Courteney Cox. Jennifer told us she'd do "anything" for her former Friends costar, and in August, she put in a hilarious cameo on Courteney's show Cougar Town.

Jennifer took a break from shooting Wanderlust in NYC in November and kicked off her holiday season with a Thanksgiving trip to one of her favorite Mexican vacation spots with close friends like Chelsea Handler. It was a whirlwind year for Jennifer professionally and personally, and we'll see more of her in 2011 with Horrible Bosses arriving in theaters.
