In need of some new Summer jams to crank with the windows rolled down?

In need of some new Summer jams to crank with the windows rolled down? Look no further — it's Tuesday and I've got you covered on what tunes are worth your spending money.

Love goddess: After more than 20 years in the biz, Kylie Minogue keeps the party going with her latest album Aphrodite. Full of frenetic pop that never slows, it's what Minogue does best, and she knows it, boldly stating, "I am the original" on the title song. Though the tracks make for a nice collection of upbeat, dance-worthy love tunes, as a whole, they're a bit monotonous. That complaint aside, I'm liking "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel the Love)" and "Get Outta My Way."

On his own: The half of Outkast that's not Andre 3000, Big Boi, hits us with his first solo album today, Sir Luscious Left Foot . . . The Son of Chico Dusty. That title is quite the mouthful, and his song titles are equally entrancing, like "Daddy Fat Sax." Silly name aside, it's a groove worthy of any of Outkast's hits, as is "Shutterbug," which boasts Boi's stellar rap skills. Finally, my favorite is "Be Still," Big Boi's collaboration with Janelle Monae, a soulful marriage of their hip-hop styles.

Are You More Interested in Bret Michaels Now?

Between his health troubles, his Celebrity Apprentice win, and last week's appearance on American Idol, it seems that Bret Michaels is more relevant than ever.

Between his health troubles, his Celebrity Apprentice win, and last week's appearance on American Idol, it seems that Bret Michaels is more relevant than ever. I've had a weird fascination with the guy ever since Rock of Love (what is he hiding under those cowboy hats?!), but very soon, we'll see a whole new side of the Poison star. VH1 is once again collaborating with Michaels for a reality series titled Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It, but this time we'll get to see his nurturing, paternal persona. The network aired a sneak preview of the series yesterday, which showed Michaels at home as he interacts with his two daughters — yeah, bet you didn't know he had daughters, did you? — and their mom, who is Michaels's on-again, off-again love.

Michaels is obviously trying to pump the brakes on his hard and fast lifestyle, which is probably a good thing given his hospital wake-up call, but I'm curious to see if his recent scare and subsequent appearances will translate into ratings for the show. What's your take — do you care more about Michaels given recent events?

After the sad news that former Poison frontman Bret Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage and was rushed to the hospital, fans all over started showing their support, waiting for any news about the ailing rock star. Luckily, according to sources, he's showing improvement and will hopefully make a full and fast recovery!

Now, you can show your support during his recovery with a free download of the Poison Virtual Concert Lighter app for iPhone and iPod Touch. Usually priced at $1, it features an onscreen flame made to look like a flickering Zippo lighter — a safe alternative to holding a live flame at a rock concert. And if Poison's not your thing, there are similar apps available from artists like Rod Stewart, Incubus, Lil' Wayne, and more.

The app is free from the App Store through May 7.

Bret Michaels and Pantene Form Unholy Partnership

Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in.

Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in. Today, Pantene held a press conference with Bret Michaels announcing a new "reality star"-themed contest to celebrate Pantene's rebranding. The winner will get to be in a commercial and will score VIP access to one of Bret's concerts and a, uh, "tour" of his Rock of Love bus.

Last night, we Bellas were actually joking about how we wished Bret would be the new Pantene spokesperson. The laughter quickly died from our lips when we discovered just how close we were. If you're interested in spending some quality time with Bret and getting a taste of reality stardom yourself, you just have to make a video explaining why you're the next Pantene spokesmodel and then send it in. (Good luck, and bring some Purell.) Right now, you can also get free samples of the new Pantene if you'd like to take them for a test drive. And no, this is not an April Fools' joke. Really.
