It's been a rough few months for celebrity love — Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy both took to their Twitter accounts today to announce their split. The two have been a couple for five years, during which Jim bonded tremendously with Jenny's son, Evan, and the trio have spent many hours campaigning for her autism cause and being generally goofy together. They also recently celebrated the birth of Jim's daughter Jane's first baby. We always loved how happy they seemed and even in their breakup, it sounds like the caring is still mutual.
