Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans went into action mode while filming a scene for their upcoming film, Captain America: The Winter Solider, in LA yesterday. Scarlett showed off her red hair as she kicked an actor during the shoot. Her martial arts scene came just a day before the 2013 Tony nominations were announced this morning. Scarlett starred on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof but didn't earn a nomination for her work on the play. Jessica Chastain, who was in The Heiress, and Katie Holmes, who worked on Dead Accounts, were also snubbed. While Scarlett didn't earn a nomination this time around, she did win the Tony for best actress featured in a play back in 2010 for her gig in A View From the Bridge.

Chris Evans and Minka Kelly Share a Sushi Date Night
Chris Evans and Minka Kelly met up for dinner at Sushi Stop in Los Feliz, CA, last night. The couple were first spotted getting romantic over the Summer. Chris and Minka actually dated back in 2007, and it looks like they've rekindled their relationship following Minka's split from Derek Jeter.
Earlier this week, Chris got to work filming A Many Splintered Thing with Topher Grace. He's also signed on for Avengers 2, which will be written and directed by Joss Whedon. Chris will first reprise his superhero role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier alongside Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, and newcomer to the franchise, Anthony Mackie.
Chris Evans Gives Minka Kelly a Lift Following Their Taco Date
Chris Evans and Minka Kelly took a drive in his Lexus yesterday in West Hollywood. Minka, who was dressed down in workout clothes, flashed a wide grin as she and Chris chatted in the car. Chris then dropped her off in the LA neighborhood with her pooch. Minka was back out later in the day to run errands in a skirt solo.
Minka and Chris were spotted kissing on Monday outside an LA-area taco shop. The pair previously dated back in 2007 and were seen out together in both Boston and NYC again this August before their Mexican-food stop earlier this week. After her initial split from Chris, Minka became engaged to baseball star Derek Jeter, but the pair broke it off last year. Chris, whose career was kickstarted in 2011 when he appeared in Captain America, has kept his romantic life largely out of the public eye since breaking up with Minka. Despite that, he has been rumored to have dated celebrities from Stacy Keibler to Kate Bosworth over the years.
The Iceman Trailer: Michael Shannon and Chris Evans Are Cold-Blooded
If you didn't catch Michael Shannon's intensely psychotic role in Premium Rush, you should definitely take a gander at the trailer for The Iceman. Shannon stars in the movie based on the true story of the now-notorious Iceman, contract killer Richard Kuklinski. (The Iceman claims to have killed over 100 people in the 1980s). Chris Evans plays his right-hand man, a dirty ice cream truck vendor who helps hack up the bodies once Richard has made the hit.
I find Shannon to be absolutely gripping as the man hiding his dangerous career from his innocent wife (Winona Ryder) and kids. I'm also really happy to see Ray Liotta, one of my favorite movie mobsters, as the Iceman's boss. And just when you think it's over — looky, looky, it's James Franco! Check out the chilling trailer (no pun intended) for The Iceman after the jump.

The Avengers: Assemble For Awesomeness
Ensemble romantic comedies are a dime a dozen these days, and let's face it: most of those star-studded flicks aren't even that good. But an ensemble superhero movie? Now that's an idea I can get behind. The Avengers rounds up an all-star group of comic book heroes who must get over their inflated egos and differences to take down a villain and save the world. It's a simple enough concept, and the combination of eye-popping special effects, humor, and a stellar cast makes for one hell of a blockbuster movie.
The cast of characters — and each one is very much a character in their own right — is mostly composed of people you've seen before and are happy to welcome back. There's Chris Evans as Captain America, whose situation as a '50s guy living in a 2012 world is funny to the audience, if not to him. Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Iron Man, and his wisecracks and borderline obnoxious behavior carry the film and much of the dialogue; Chris Hemsworth is back as demigod Thor, though his role feels a bit downplayed in the midst of the rest of the hubbub. Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner return as Nick Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who kick butt but are never really as much fun as their power-wielding cohorts. The only guy who's new to the group is Mark Ruffalo, who takes on the role of Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) for the first time, and Ruffalo's so quietly engaging that you won't even remember Eric Bana or Edward Norton in the role.

See the Avengers' Non-Superhero Movie Collaborations
With so many A-list actors in one action-packed movie, it's no shock that some of the stars of The Avengers have crossed paths before. However, we were surprised at how many times the stars have appeared onscreen together in the past. It's no wonder they all seem so chummy off set! Take a look at the famous (and not so famous) movies the heroes have been in before!
Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans Talk Sharing the Superhero Spotlight and Their Post-Avengers Sequels
The Avengers has a double dose of Chrises — Hemsworth and Evans, that is — in their pack, and I chatted with the guys at a press day for the movie. They revealed that they loved sharing the spotlight after having their own individual movies, and also discussed what they hope to see next from Thor and Captain America. Check it out!
Check Out the Latest Trailer For The Avengers!
The Super Bowl wouldn't be complete without some blockbuster movie trailers, and this year's big game came complete with a fresh look at The Avengers. This spot is short and sweet, mostly focusing on seeing the team assemble and prepare for epic battling. Though the first Avengers trailer is more satisfying and in-depth, this little teaser is keeping us excited for the film's Summer release. Plus, we get a much better look at The Hulk (who actually looks pretty similar to the big green guy we saw in the Ed Norton movie.)
