The Sex and the City 2 cast wrapped up the good times at their big NYC premiere last night and headed to Lincoln Center for the afterparty. The fabulous fashions continued as Sarah Jessica Parker traded her neon yellow Valentino Couture gown for a black Elie Saab number, and Kristin Davis changed out of her hot pink Jean Desses into something more sparkly. Sarah Jessica was also rocking blonder hair — get the inside scoop on her locks from her hairstylist Mandy Lyons. Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, meanwhile, didn't bother with a wardrobe transition as they celebrated into the late hours with SJP's man, Matthew Broderick.
Cynthia brought along her own long-term love, Christine Marinoni, and Chris Noth stayed close with his fiancee, Tara Wilson. John Corbett flashed a smile on his way inside, while Kristin posed for photos with her many hot male costars. The movie's writer, producer, and director Michael Patrick King stayed close to SJP, as the gang kicked off what will become a worldwide press tour for their blockbuster film.

The Sex and the City 2 gang was out in full force last night in NYC for the first premiere of their film before Thursday's London event. The evening was all about the Big Apple and, of course, the four main ladies and their amazing fashion — Sarah Jessica Parker was in a bright yellow Valentino couture gown with her husband Matthew Broderick by her side, while a similarly neon-wearing Kristin Davis picked a Jean Desses number. Cynthia Nixon opted for black strapless Carolina Herrera, and Kim Cattrall was in a sparkly Naeem Khan. SJP spent a long time signing autographs for the impressive amount of fans gathered at Radio City Music Hall before heading to the blue carpet. Kristin, meanwhile, opened up about reuniting with her costars in the film, saying it was great fun and that she and SJP actually talk all the time!
Willie Garson, aka Stanford Blatch, echoed the sentiment — he told us that he and Sarah Jessica talk on the phone practically every day. His and Mario Cantone's characters tie the knot early on in the movie, and Mario said the whole set was infused with lots of love and happiness with their all being back together. John Corbett looked handsome as ever all suited up, and his longtime love Bo Derek hung behind the reporters just smiling and supporting her man. He said that, despite his SATC fame, he's still able to walk down the street like a regular guy — he and Bo, though, are planning on spending the Summer away from the crowds and off riding horses at their ranch. Chris Noth made it a date night too, with his fiance Tara Wilson scooting into the theater before the crowds got too thick.
Jason Lewis has a brief cameo in the project, and he spoke about being grateful to be included again. He doesn't feel threatened by Samantha's new love interests played by male model Noah Mills and the actor Max Ryan. Noah said that his impressive abs were probably a factor in getting the job, while Max Ryan said he was a little nervous about his required sex scene. Stay tuned for lots more from the exciting, star-studded night on today's PopSugar Rush and don't miss any of our Sex and the City 2 wardrobe, beauty, food, gadgets, and more coverage!

Sarah Jessica Parker and her Sex and the City 2 costars had a busy weekend of press, starting on Friday when she was decked out in Proenza Schouler for a carriage ride in Central Park with Billy Bush. Saturday afternoon was more casual, though, and SJP was spotted in pants on her way out of a hotel with Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis. The trio joined Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth and their director Michael Patrick King yesterday for a press conference held appropriately in the shoe department of Bergdorf Goodman. Amid racks filled with Manolos, Louboutins, and more, they opened up about their film and the fun times they had working together once again. Here are highlights:
- SJP on the issues facing Carrie this time: "There was a wedding, and now there's a marriage — and the two are very different. I think Carrie finds herself starting to ask questions about the environment in which she currently lives. And the big theme of the movie for all of us is tradition — why do we run toward it and why do we push it away . . . how do we redefine tradition for ourselves?"
- SJP on filming in Morocco: "It was one of the great experiences of my professional life to live and work with this cast and crew every single place, to see the sun rise and set in the most far-flung places, to lie in a bed all day with these women exhausted and laughing — to be on a camel with Kim Cattrall . . . [Kim says, "Not many people can say they've done that!"] It was indescribably wonderful."
- Kristin after SJP outed her for a gastrointestinal problem in Morocco: "I still have to deal with the first movie on a daily basis! So give me a break now everybody!"
- Michael Patrick King on filming in NYC: "We had NYC, which was here in Bergdorfs, with thousands and thousands of people watching and supporting. It was like an interactive theater piece. The girls go to talk, everybody shuts up, I say action, lines, cut, applause! I call that the celebrity petting zoo. Every now and then someone breaks through and we have to stop and get everyone back behind the barricade."

Kate Hudson was just named the new face of Almay, and she was out last night to represent the brand at their concert to celebrate the Rainforest Fund's 21st birthday in NYC. Lady Gaga, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Sting and more performed to the crowd at legendary Carnegie Hall. Kate, who showed off her singing skills in Nine, tried her hand at a duet with Bruce Springsteen. We may not all understand Kate's taste in men like Alex Rodriguez, but the actress looks like she's having a blast spending another season in the city. This time she's been staying away from Yankee Stadium, however, instead sticking to filming Something Borrowed, spending time with Ryder, and keeping her red carpet social schedule full.

Chris Noth stripped down to take a shirtless swim in Miami yesterday before he hit the Audi party with Kellan Lutz. We'll be seeing Chris all buttoned up as Mr. Big for Sex and the City 2, but these days he spends his time on other small screen projects like Law and Order and The Good Wife. It's been a few years since Chris's heartthrob heyday, but tell us what you think of him at the beach — sexy or not?
