Cisco Adler

As expected, stars and celebrity DJs gathered together at Avalon in LA last night to welcome home DJ AM for his first public appearance since his plane crash last month. Mark Ronson, Danny Masterson, and DJ Aoki were just a few who took turns spinning while AM caught up with friends like Hilary Duff and Cisco Adler. Travis Barker sadly couldn't make it to the event since he's still hospitalized, but the proceeds went to the families of the crash victims. We couldn't be happier to see AM healthy and celebrating with his friends while honoring the memory of the other people on the plane. He'll be taking the stage again tonight kicking off Jay-Z's tour.

Paris may be going to jail on Monday but that didn't stop her from getting some last minute partying at the launch party for the new BlackBerry Curve. DJ Lohan is back! I was worried we may have lost her forever! Hipster dance music will reign again! Anyway, Lindsay resumed her post at the turntables at Les Deux in Hollywood last night. I assume that DJ Kid Millionaire Steve Aoki (son of Benihana's owner Rocky Aoki and brother of model Devon Aoki) was the scheduled DJ, but he was probably more than happy to let Lohan take the wheel for a little. She looks to be taking it pre-ty serious, too. I wonder if she played Avril's new dance jam? I wouldn't even be surprised.

Another week down, eh ladies? There were highs, there were certainly lows and, of course, there was ::jazz hands::fashion::jazz hands::. So what went down? Heeere we go:

• Anna Nicole Smith passed away. We have a feeling this story, which is already incredibly complicated and shady, is just getting started.
• Fashion week came, and went and while we were more interested in the front rows and catfights and cute Bilsons, our fancy sister was around to talk shop.
• We had a breakthrough with Fergie. Though Carmen should probably start getting angry about appearance copyright infringement.
• OMG Ryan Phillippe is dating A CHILD! Or, you know, not.
• Mischa and Cisco broke up, but he was the last to know. Something about an overexposed bag.
• Head in Hands. Oh, Britney.
• Celebrities were sighted. Have you seen any?

Yesterday, Cisco's rep denied that he and Mischa had broken up saying, "They are fine - very happy together." Today, however, Mischa's rep has confirmed otherwise, "Mischa and Cisco have decided to part ways... Mischa is moving east soon and they both have very demanding schedules." We're still betting this has something to do with that nasty photo of Cisco circling the Internet thanks to Paris Exposed. Before Cisco found out he had been dumped though (who knows, perhaps this is still news to him), he seemed to be pretty nonchalant about the scandal known as "Ballgate." Here's highlights:

• How it happened:
  “Paris’ shit got stolen, and somehow she had a picture of me naked in there,” he said with a sly snigger. “That’s Paris Hilton to you!”
• Mischa's reaction:
  “Mischa wasn’t too excited, to say the least,” said Mr. Adler, who has a “rock ’n’ roll reality show” premiering July 5. “I think it was actually worse for her than for me in some ways. So yeah, I’m gonna try to keep my pants on from now on.”
• His feelings about the whole thing:
  I think it’s pretty rock ’n’ roll. You know, if it was like yesterday I would’ve freaked out, but then I looked at the picture and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s from like 2001. Whatever....I’m a naked dude! I don’t give a f#@%.”

He probably cares a little bit about it now, don't you think? After our poll yesterday we know that this is not disappointing news. It seems the vast majority of you were clearly not a fan of this couple to begin with. Hopefully Mischa will move on to someone who's a little less rock and roll (read: appears to shower) and a little more OC.

Mischa Barton may have turned 21 last week (finally, someone will let the girl have a drink), but it wasn't the joyful affair it should have been. Rumor has it that Mischa's big night was marred by the death of a family pet. At least she had her puppy Ziggy in New York to help console her. Here's more:

RUMORS were swirling after Mischa Barton showed up an hour and a half late to her 21st-birthday dinner at Graydon Carter's Waverly Inn on Thursday night. Barton's table sat at 9 p.m., but the b-day girl, in a flowing white dress, didn't show until 10:30. Her guests were not angered but saddened to learn that the delay had been caused by the death of the starlet's family dog, Bean. Still up for celebrating, though, Barton ended the night with a bash at the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar.

Hopefully Mischa was able to pull it together and take her requisite 21-year-old tequila shots. Otherwise, how would Mischa initiate herself into the world of drinking? Right.

Har, har, har. The always (sometimes? Never?) hilarious tuxedo shirt made an appearance at the Golden Globes after parties. Unfortunately, it was on the trunk of Mischa Barton's man, Cisco Adler. Although we're sure he's less-than-thrilled with his favorite meal ticket after this weekend's reports of a cheating Mischa, the tuxedo shirt? Really? That's not even original. Perhaps it should be a rule for couples that both members need to dress to the level that the half who was actually invited to the party wants to dress. That, or generally try not to publicly embarrass your date, especially when she's far easier on the eyes.

Mischa Barton was not looking very happy when photographers found her at Real Food Daily the other day. She was with her boyfriend Cisco Adler but he didn't seem to cheer her up. Apparently she barely ate any of her meal and took the rest to go. Perhaps she was hung over from a NYE celebration or maybe she just wished she had a better night to begin with.

Who would have known that while almost every other couple in Hollywood broke up this year, Mischa and Cisco would still be going strong? The two looked as happy as ever out and about in West Hollywood the other day. Who knows what the New Year will bring for these two. By the way they look now, it could be a walk down the aisle!
