Leighton Meester and Blake Lively, our new very favorite Gossip Girls, visited TRL yesterday to hobnob with their new bread and butter — the MTV watching set. No one loves some good gossip like the teens! As usual, the girls looked perfectly put together, and thankfully Bella's on the case for getting perfect TRL makeup. Now, if only I could find a way to get Blake's hair. Also, Dear wants to know what you consider gossip. Fresh off her Emmy win, America Ferrera looked decidedly un-Betty in her t-shirt and jeans stopping by TRL yesterday afternoon. Her on screen persona certainly has a unique style, but America looks gorgeous in this casual look. In the past she denied rumors that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, but I spy with my little eye a ring on that finger. Maybe Wilhelmina's won't be the only wedding America is dressing up for this season. The first episode of the new season of Ugly Betty was surprisingly heartbreaking, but America and her fabulous fellow cast members somehow always find a way to tow the line between adorable, smarmy, endearing and hilarious. Love it.

There was no shortage of Elle Woods' signature color pink at a special MTV taping of the musical version of Legally Blonde in NYC yesterday. The ladies of The Hills put on their party dresses to host the pre-show event. Audrina showed off her super toned arms and LC kept it simple in her LBD. Whitney got right into the pink spirit in a dress that Beyonce showed off in July. Looks like Heidi and Spencer couldn't make it to the big event, but Heidi must be really busy these days with her fancy new job and all.

Andy Samberg displayed enough facial expressions on TRL yesterday to give John Krasinski a run for his money. Andy's becoming a household name this year and with his new movie and big Emmy nomination, we can expect to see more of of him. Speaking of that now infamous skit, Andy admits that he was surprised by the craze created by "D*ck In The Box," saying, "I never thought it would be anything. Justin did, though. He knows what a hit sounds like. I so want to win this Emmy." Paul Rudd was looking super cute on TRL yesterday - he's even putting Damien Fahey to shame. Paul stopped by to promote his new movie, The Ten before joining some of his co-stars at the premiere last night. The movie looks a little quirky, but watching Paul is more than enough reason to check it out. He's certainly come a long way since the Clueless days, but we love that he has stayed his adorably scruffy self.

Shia may not be known for his comedic talent, but that obviously didn't prevent him from hamming it up on TRL yesterday. As much as these pictures make us cringe just a little, it isn't entirely his fault - he was challenged to act out a love scene with a tennis ball. Regardless of what or whom he's kissing off camera, Shia's still forging ahead on his path to superstardom. He just signed on for Eagle Eye, a thriller that will be directed by D.J. Caruso, who did Disturbia. Based on Disturbia's surprising success, this could be yet another promising project for Mr. LaBeouf, and perhaps in the meantime he can try to find a lucky lady to practice his kissing scenes with.

Lindsay Lohan looked pissed off about something at a party celebrating her NYLON magazine cover at Tejune in NYC last night. She obviously would have rather been somewhere else, which is why (after changing the dress) she and her newest (and past) boytoy, Calum Best jetted off to wherever the night took them. Linds must be proud of this one, as she was reportedly bragging about conquering him in that one very scandalous article. Well good for her for finding a dude she likes for more than five minutes, let's just see how long she lets him stay around. A summer romance perhaps? I mean, considering how well the last one went...

Conde Nast had plenty of star power to help celebrate their 2007 Traveler Hot List in NYC last night. The list boasts the best new hotels across the globe, in cities from New York to Tasmania. The event had its own hot list of some of our favorite boys, including Adam Brody, Damien Fahey and Jason Lewis. We're not sure which captures our interest more, the beautiful hotels in exotic locations or the yummy guys we'd like to travel with.

Last night, Christina and Jordan helped Nylon magazine celebrate their 8th anniversary (and her cool cover) at the Gansevoort Hotel in NY. With Christina busy on her Back to Basics tour, she and Jordan don't get to spend as much time together, but she's happy to report that they're having no trouble keeping their love alive. People reports:

"He'll fill my room with balloons and I won't be expecting it....I'll come in the room and there will be balloons everywhere and a card and my favorite chocolates all around – and I'm always sending cards when I can, just cute little love notes."

It doesn't stop there. "He always leaves Post-Its by my bed when I wake up in the morning telling me how much he loves me. All that gushy stuff, but it feels good. He's the best," Aguilera, 26, said of Bratman, 29, whom she wed in 2005 and calls her "best friend in the whole wide world."

And while Aguilera says that she and Bratman "do plan on having a family," don't expect to hear pregnancy reports any time soon. "I do have a schedule for myself and goals I want to achieve, but it's definitely on the list of things to do in the next few years," she said. "We'll have fun trying in the meantime!"

People make fun of Jordan but I think he sounds like a sweetheart. No wonder Christina writes songs about "No other man" - he seems like he knows how to make this superstar happy. Long-distance love can be hard, but these two look to have found their perfect formula.

Those of you who were tweens in the late 90s may be sad to hear that MTV's TRL (or Total Request Live, if you remember the days before acronyms were the only way kids knew how to speak) is quite possibly headed for the chopping block. Perhaps it's because the video countdown show (that probably averages showing two full videos a week) is, at this point, little more than a few bright colors and cheesy games between endless commercial breaks (uh, not that we watch it every chance we get or anything).

We're pretty sure that cute Damien Fahey will find himself a new gig (or just focus on his band?) and Vanessa Minnillo's got her Lachey meal ticket, but what will become of LaLa?

Really though, it's all been downhill since Carson Daly left (which is most certainly a sentence that we never thought we'd say anything about ever).
