Ashlee, Pete, Adrien and Joaquin Celebrate Banksy and Street Art

Enigmatic artist Banksy has quite a celebrity following — including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Kate Moss — so it was no surprise that last night's LA premiere of his documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop brought out some big names. Adrien Brody was once again sporting his bright red shoes to match the carpet while Joaquin Phoenix continued to be clean faced and beard free. He hasn't done much to acknowledge last year's foray into rap and facial hair, though we're still curious exactly what was going on there. Ashlee Simpson raved about the film and the art installation outside while Pete shared one of Banksy's famous works and his thoughts on the film afterwards.

How Do You Feel About the TV Dancing Show Trend?

Tonight, after the finale of Make Me a Supermodel (I'm on Team Holly, by the way), Bravo will premiere its latest reality series: Step It Up and Dance, which pits 12 aspiring dancers together in a contest to master styles from ballet to burlesque.

Tonight, after the finale of Make Me a Supermodel (I'm on Team Holly, by the way), Bravo will premiere its latest reality series: Step It Up and Dance, which pits 12 aspiring dancers together in a contest to master styles from ballet to burlesque.

The show, which comes from the folks behind Project Runway and Top Chef and is hosted by Elizabeth Berkley, is just the latest of a huge crop of dance shows that have popped up both on network TV and cable in the past couple of years. There's Dancing with the Stars, of course, and So You Think You Can Dance, plus J. Lo's Dancelife, America's Best Dance Crew on MTV, Your Mama Don't Dance on Lifetime, and the rumored Dance Machine on ABC.

When I asked Jerry Mitchell, the famed choreographer who will serve as the mentor on Step It Up and Dance, why there were so many dance shows on the air, he chalked it up to a little bit of wish fulfillment. "Dance is like a bird flying for most people," he said. "It’s something everyone wants to do, but very few can." What do you think is up with the dancing craze? And are these shows getting your attention?

Recast Saved by the Bell and Win a Prize!

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie.

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

Saved by the Bell was a popular suggestion back when I asked for recast ideas, and I think it's about time we did it. If you could recast this beloved and late '80s-early '90s teen sitcom with new actors, who would you choose to play too-cool Zack, athletic Slater and goofy Screech? What about peppy Kelly, feministic Jessie and the ever-fashionable Lisa Turtle? And, of course, we can't forget about Principal Belding.

Leave your entry in the comment section below, and I'll pick one winner to feature Tuesday, October 23, complete with a "new" cast photo. To see a list of characters to recast and a photo of the BuzzSugar t-shirt, read more

The Fountain Premiere

Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz came out to celebrate The Fountain's NY premiere, and also the first film of Darren Aronofsky's in six years!

Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz came out to celebrate The Fountain's NY premiere, and also the first film of Darren Aronofsky's in six years! You probably remember the last one was Requiem for a Dream. This time around he has written a very ambitious tale based on his own graphic novel. The story spans over 1,000 years and both Hugh and Rachel get to play multiple characters. Sounds pretty interesting. The film opens this holiday weekend.
