Elizabeth Berkley channeled her Saved by the Bell character, Jessie Spano, on Monday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars. The actress performed an enthusiastic jive routine with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, to the Pointer Sisters hit "I'm So Excited" — and though we're pretty sure you already know Elizabeth's connection to that song, let's just say it has something to do with a manic Jessie and a bottle of caffeine pills. If the '80s throwback wasn't amazing enough, Elizabeth had the support of none other than her former SBTB costar Mario Lopez and received a near-perfect score from the three judges. We got word over the weekend that Elizabeth would be re-creating the iconic scene, and she confirmed the news herself with a series of tweets leading up to the big event; speaking of social media, please check out this incredible tweet from Mark-Paul Gosselaar (aka Zack Morris) before Elizabeth hit the dance floor:
Gotta take my NoDoz…gotta stay up tonight…”I’m so excited”…on DWTS…TONIGHT!!! @ElizBerkley possibly bring back “The Sprain”?! …I’m so scared

We just can't deal with this Saved by the Bell overload — we're so excited! Watch the original moment from Saved By the Bell below.
AC Slater and "Mama" — together again! On Wednesday, Dancing With the Stars contestant Elizabeth Berkley got to show off her moves with her Saved by the Bell costar and Extra TV host Mario Lopez during an appearance on the show. The former onscreen flames spun around the stage, bringing to mind their best dance moments at Bayside High and The Max. Afterward, Mario tweeted, "Tango time with my girl @ElizBerkley on @ExtraTV! So proud of you . . . #WorkItMomma."
Earlier this month, Saved by the Bell fans had another reason to celebrate when Mark-Paul Gosselaar participated in a hilarious interview about what a modern-day Zack Morris might do in different situations. He joked about how Zack would feel about CrossFit, catfishing, and gluten-free diets, adding that Screech was, in fact, a robot. Watch the tongue-in-cheek interview below:
And — just for fun — let's look back at some of the best dance scenes from Saved by the Bell. Remember when Slater rocked a leotard while leaping around The Max? Or when all the guys did a "Barbara Ann" routine together? Check out these Bayside blasts from the past below.
Hands down, Saved by the Bell was my favorite after-school show. High school couldn't look cooler with Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle, and Jessie Spano. Of course, hotties Zach Morris (remember the huge cellphone he used to carry in his pocket?) and beefcake A.C. Slater provided hunky eye candy. And Screech, who could forget Screech? Loved him. I was only in grade school when this show debuted, so I could only dream of wearing Kelly's crop tops and Lisa's tight denim shorts — Jessie had legs for days in those washed out skinny jeans. The girls also fancied jean jackets, high-waist pants, and floral prints. Sigh, what I would do for a Freaky Friday experience with Kelly Kapowski circa '91 . . .
The other day I was chatting with a friend, and I noticed that one of her eyes was a bright bluish-green and the other was a bright greenish-blue — a subtle but noticeable difference. So cool. Having two completely different eye colors is called complete heterochromia, and there are other variations, such as sectoral heterochromia, where the iris may be one color with distinctive hues within. Check out some of my tips below for accentuating different colored eyes, along with some pictures of stars who have multihued eyes after the jump.

It's been a good year for Saved by the Bell alumni. Mark-Paul Gosselaar's new show, Raising the Bar, begins airing on TNT in September. Mario Lopez has been everywhere from Broadway to MTV. And now Elizabeth Berkley — who's already appeared on CSI: Miami and hosted Step It Up and Dance — is joining the cast of The L Word.
Berkley will come on board for the show's final season, playing a former love interest of Jennifer Beals's character ("the straight girl that got away," according to Entertainment Weekly). No word yet on when she'll show up, but she is going to be around for multiple episodes. This isn't the first time Berkley and Beals have worked together: They also shared screen time in the 2002 film Roger Dodger.
Berkley seems like she should fit right in with the rest of the L Word ladies, and I'm excited to see what she can do with this role. I'm also looking forward to this much more than her other upcoming project, the (potentially ill-advised) Donnie Darko sequel. What say you?
The Cox-Arquette clan broke out their 3-D glasses last night for a screening of The Butler's In Love, a short film directed by David and starring his brother Richmond. Coco came along for a night out with her parents, but that wasn't all the family fun. David's sisters Rosanna, Alexis, and Patricia — along with her husband Thomas Jane, who starred in The Sweetest Thing back in the day — were also on hand to show their support. Whether it's friends or family, the Cox-Arquettes always seem to stay surrounded by the people they love.
I haven't seen much of Elizabeth Berkley since Showgirls and I wish that weren't the case. She's beautiful, tall, stately, and despite starring in a complete flop of a film, I really liked her when she was on Saved by the Bell. So it was a real treat to see her on the red carpet last night at the Los Angeles premiere for The Butler's in Love. She was looking cheerful with very taut skin and light hair. Which hair color do you like best on Elizabeth Berkley?
Last night Courteney Cox walked the red carpet in support of her husband David's latest movie, Nosebleed. It's a short film that revolves around his character trying to stop his nosebleed. Doesn't quite sound Oscar worthy but it did pique other celebs' interest as Mena Suvari and Rosario Dawson also got dolled up for the premiere. Mena's hair may still need some getting used to but I'm loving the beautiful blue trendy dress she's wearing.
