Cameron Diaz celebrated her big 40th birthday in August, and just a few weeks before marking the milestone, she posed for Esquire UK — her full interview appears in the November issue, which goes on sale Thursday, Oct. 4, on newsstands and digitally. Cameron got sexy in lingerie for photographer Terry Richardson and touches on getting older, marriage, and kids in the publication. Here's more from Cameron Diaz in Esquire:

  • On getting older: "There's no such thing as anti-aging — it's all a crock of sh*t, you can't go back in time. So for me, it's about living in this moment, the best that I can. Contentment is about coming to terms with life as it is, rather than getting all pissed off that things didn't fit into your little prescribed box. And it's much bigger. For the first time in my life I'm content. I'm so excited. Getting older is the best part of life. Like, I know more than I've ever known. I have gratitude. I know myself better. I feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it — I feel better at 40 than I did at 25."
  • On marriage: "It just wasn't the thing I was drawn to. I certainly didn't want it in my twenties. Or my thirties. And I'm going to be 40 in three weeks. So we'll see! I'd always wanted to get hitched in Vegas at least three times. It's funny because as my girlfriends get older, I see how their relationships have evolved, and you know, the people you're drawn to changes. I'm not attracted to the same people that I was drawn to in my twenties."
  • On having kids: "I don't need to have the children in my life be a part of my literal flesh. And anyway, there's still a possibility of that, I aint that old. Believe it or not, I'm feeling very...capable."

Rihanna's been busy with more than just her music lately, having starred in her first major film, Battleship. The movie had a strong opening at the box office earlier this month and it looks like Rihanna's career isn't slowing down. She's performing in Europe this Summer, and in November she'll release her third fragrance, Nude, which she appropriately posed naked for during a recent promotional photo shoot.

Jake Gets Frank About Love, Drugs, and Sex in Esquire UK

Jake Gyllenhaal is fresh-faced at the moment, but he was rocking his full beard when he posed for photos now on the cover of December's Esquire UK.

Jake Gyllenhaal is fresh-faced at the moment, but he was rocking his full beard when he posed for photos now on the cover of December's Esquire UK. He opened up to a writer at the magazine about shooting those racy sex scenes in Love and Other Drugs, but he didn't touch on his rumored real-life romance with Taylor Swift. Jake spoke at length about him and Anne Hathaway being naked on set and even his love for his sister, Maggie, in the interview, which is available in full when the issue hits newsstands on Thursday, Nov 4. He said:

  • On how to get Anne Hathaway into bed: "We talked about what we thought was sexy, about what were the things that interested us, and through the discussion became pretty intimate with each other."
  • On sex scenes with Anne: "Annie and I had already had sex on film (in Brokeback Mountain). There’s something about the way Annie and I both work which is inherently very musical. It's all about rhythm. There's a rhythm to writing, there's a rhythm to sports, there's a rhythm to sex."
  • On letting it all hang out on set: "Annie, because as a woman I think it's harder. She said at one point, 'Well, we're both topless and we both show our butts.' And I was like, 'Hmm, but it's a little different for you.'"
  • On admiration for his sister, Maggie: "I admire her and continue to admire her. That might play into the reason I don't have much of a problem letting the women I've worked with shine. I love women."
