Nicole Richie got her hair and makeup all done up at the salon yesterday for good reason — she was on her way to the 18th Annual Environmental Media awards in LA. Joel escorted her to the event, which also brought out celebs like Rosario Dawson, Maria Bello, and Jaime King. The awards honor TV shows and film that spread environmental awareness, so apparently Nicole and Joel are going beyond their efforts towards helping children and focusing on saving our planet as well.

Will Smith and Jada put on their big red carpet smiles out to support her brother Caleb Pinkett at his premiere of Lakeview Terrace in NYC last night. As for Caleeb's costars, Samuel L. Jackson had his usual Kangol while Kerry Washington was all wrapped up in red. Will produced the film, which he was excited to gush about and when asked about playing Barack Obama on screen he said, "That's great! As soon as he writes the end of the story; we're going to help him write the end of the story in the next couple of weeks." Not the first time it's been suggested but I suspect before Will takes on acting as Obama, he'll be stumping for the candidate as the race heats up.

They may not be exuding fabulous quite like the side-by-side trio of Dita, Claudia, and Posh but two of the three were still hanging around the Paris Spring couture shows this week joined by some fresh faces. Posh is back in the UK performing, but has been replaced by the always adorable Lucy Liu and Blake Lively. Looks like at least one Gossip Girl is taking her new role as a budding fashionista quite seriously. Dita, of course, looked impeccable in the front row with her new fashion buddies. The ladies were there for the Valentino and Jean Paul Gaultier shows. Blake dressed a little bit quirky and a little bit cute for the surely nerve-wracking event, while Lucy continued to show off her tendency toward the unique, no doubt influenced by her new Patty Field Cashmere Mafia wardrobe. America Ferrera and Anna Ortiz were all smiles on the red carpet at the 22nd Annual Imagen Awards this weekend at the Disney Concert Hall. The ladies were surrounded by many other stars including Eva La Rue, Wilmer Valderrama and Desperate Housewives' Ricardo Antonio Chavira. The award show recognizes excellence in Latino entertainment. Ugly Betty took home the prize for best primetime TV program while its stars, America & Anna took home best TV actress and supporting TV actress. Could this be a preview for what's to come at the Primetime Emmy Awards?
