Eva Mendes prepped for New Year's Eve in LA by picking up some last-minute groceries and getting in a visit at a spa. Eva, in a navy blue Alpinestars by Denise Focil Jill sweater, ripped boyfriend jeans, and beige Isabel Marant sneakers, was first spotted buying a Breville blender at Gelson's Market on Sunday, and Monday she was back in her baggy denim pants to visit a spa in Calabasas with a male friend.

Eva recently wrapped filming for Larry David's new movie for HBO, Clear History. She filmed the project on the East Coast in October, but has since returned to LA. Her boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, who won the title of sexiest man of 2012, has been on the West Coast as well, prepping for the premiere Gangster Squad, which hits theaters Jan. 11. Ryan has more big plans in store for 2013, since he will begin filming his directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster, in the Spring.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are both back on the West Coast following their romantic reunion in NYC last week. Eva visited a friend's house in LA yesterday, while Ryan took a solo stroll to the Hollywood Hills Hotel after leaving Chateau Marmont. Separate film projects kept the couple apart for some time, but Eva and Ryan spent Thanksgiving together in the Big Apple. They're back to work now, with Ryan prepping for his first directorial effort, How to Catch a Monster. The movie is currently being cast and is expected to begin filming in the Spring. First, though, he'll premiere Gangster Squad ahead of its January release. Shortly after, Ryan and Eva will link back up for promotions on The Place Beyond the Pines.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes dressed in layers for a walk in NYC this afternoon. The couple spent the weekend in the Big Apple, taking walks in Manhattan and enjoying the end of the Thanksgiving break. Work brought them together romantically on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines during the Summer of 2011, and they'll be side by side in the run up to the picture's release next year. Ryan and Eva got things started on the red carpet back in September, when they premiered The Place Beyond the Pines at the Toronto International Film Festival. Ryan's got more movies to promote before theirs, though. His Gangster Squad hits theaters in January. This month has also been a big one for Ryan and Eva — Ryan turned 32 just a few weeks ago.

Bradley Cooper arrived on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival this evening to premiere The Place Beyond the Pines. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, in Dolce & Gabbana, followed behind, but were late to the screening after getting stuck in traffic. They had time to stop for photos on their way in though, and posed with Bradley and the rest of the cast. Jennifer Lawrence, who stars with Bradley in The Silver Linings Playbook, was also on hand to celebrate the big night. Ryan worked on the Derek Cianfrance-directed project last Summer in Upstate New York with his costars Eva and Bradley. This Summer, Ryan's been hard at work as well, taking care of reshoots for The Gangster Squad.
