I'm starting to get pumped up to see Crystal and Lee duke it out but American Idol isn't the only reality competition that's coming to an end this week. Last night Dancing With the Stars's top three — Erin, Evan, and Nicole — danced their hearts out for the judges, but only one will go home a winner. My money's on Evan since America can't seem to resist an Olympian, but who's your pick?

Kristen Stewart looked stunning on the Oscars red carpet last night and had Taylor Lautner's arm to help stay solid on her feet when she stepped out to present. As the evening rolled on, however, Kristen had to do what so many other women must have, too: she kicked off her high heels and went barefoot at the Vanity Fair afterparty! Kristen's dramatic train on her Monique Lhuillier gown covered up her shoeless feet while her beautiful updo remained perfect – find out how to get Kristen Stewart's Oscar hair here. She stuck with Taylor for much of the night but also chatted with fellow actresses like Julianne Moore inside the party. Academy Awards Sunday can be quite the marathon, and Kristen ducked out before the party ended, slipping into the back of her awaiting car and hopefully not stepping on anything sharp.

The afterparty fun kicked off in LA last night with Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party — make sure to check out the star-studded arrivals! The Sunset Towers hosted celebs who attended the show and those who didn't, like Victoria Beckham and Jessica Simpson, who chatted with Heidi Klum. Sandra Bullock clutched her Academy Award, and her The Blind Side costar Quinton Aaron posed with Rachel McAdams. Kathryn Bigelow and Jeremy Renner looked thrilled to bring out their The Hurt Locker gold, and fellow winner Jeff Bridges smiled alongside fellow Crazy Heart actor Maggie Gyllenhaal. Cameron Diaz changed out of her red carpet dress and into something shorter as she chatted with Jason Segel, and elsewhere Sean Penn shared a drink with Kid Rock.
Kristen Stewart, meanwhile, chatted away alongside Anjelica Huston, as Inglourious Basterds' Eli Roth cuddled up to his apparently new lady, Peaches Geldof. Rachel McAdams' ex Josh Lucas gave some bunny ears to Sam Worthington and Carey Mulligan, while happy couples like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens and Russell Brand and Katy Perry only had eyes for each other. Natalie Portman stopped to say hi to her Black Swan costar Mila Kunis' boyfriend Macaulay Culkin, following his touching tribute to John Hughes. Lovely ladies like Kate Beckinsale and Anna Kendrick kept the fashionable times going, as the VF bash got a long night of partying in LA under way.

Renee Zellweger and Reese Witherspoon stepped out in purple last night to celebrate the opening of Vera Wang's new LA boutique. The ladies were joined by a fresh from Milan Fashion Week Rachel Zoe, her husband Rodger Berman, and Mila Kunis, who was stunning in her latest black look. Figure skater Evan Lysacek was there to support Vera after she designed his Olympic costumes, and he posed for a few photos with fellow gold medalist Bruce Jenner. Reese and Renee were almost able to share the pleasure of both being close to Bradley Cooper — Renee's boyfriend, though, just had to drop out of This Means War with Reese due to a scheduling conflict with The Hangover 2.

Years ago, if you had suggested that the United States would lead the count in Winter Olympic medals won by a nation, people would have laughed you off. But over the years Team USA has inched its way up, and currently holds a pretty solid lead in the medal count. Going into the games, there were a few gold medal givens, like Shaun White and Lindsey Vonn, but upsets from Hannah Kearney and Evan Lysacek spiked that medal count even higher.
Whether or not Team USA stays on top is anyone's guess: there's still a full week of events to go, and as we've seen, the medal ranking can change in a day. However, it's still inspiring to think of what our team has done in just the first week.
