Heigl Talks Golden Globes, Plus WGA-Award Nomination

The stars of Grey's Anatomy were out picketing in support of their writers (or former writers, as the case may be, Isaiah Washington?) yesterday.

The stars of Grey's Anatomy were out picketing in support of their writers (or former writers, as the case may be, Isaiah Washington?) yesterday. This morning was a bittersweet one for the show, as it was nominated for two Golden Globes — Best Dramatic Series as well as Heigl for Best Supporting Actress. Naturally, Heigl spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what this means. She said, "I'm not crossing the picket line — not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so — which the Golden Globes I'm not." In brighter Writers Guild news, they just released their nominees for this year's WGA Awards and while Grey's didn't pick up any nods, some great and very deserving shows did. Check out the list here.
