Katie Leclerc and Gilles Marini star in the ABC Family drama Switched at Birth, and we sat down with them at a recent press event in LA to get the scoop on the show's second season. The actors caught us up on the most recent challenges their characters have faced, joked about the complicated relationships between them, and even touched on the love triangles — or "love pentagons," as Katie described them — on Switched at Birth. The show airs Mondays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central Standard Time.
The Men of Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars Talk Second Chances
Last night marked the premiere of Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars. We recently had a chance to sit down with the show's male competitors to talk about taking a second spin on the dance floor. One of the all-stars will get the boot on tonight's episode, but in the meantime, see what the guys had to say about their competitors and the dances they want to do over!
Neil Patrick Harris Suits Up and Takes in Art With David
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka stepped out last night for the Art Los Angeles Contemporary 2011 Opening Night event with Brothers & Sisters actors Rachel Griffiths and Gilles Marini. The pair left twins Gideon and Harper at home while they enjoyed the colorful exhibit. Neil had his latest break from shooting How I Met Your Mother, while his costar Cobie Smulders was across town at a stylish Elle party with Rachel Zoe. NPH also had off last weekend, when he headed to San Francisco for the annual SketchFest to interview Muppet creator Jim Henson's son Brian. Neil and Brian have another common bond, as NPH's small-screen buddy Jason Segel is singing, acting, and dancing alongside Amy Adams in the new movie about Henson's famous puppets. Neil may get the opportunity to show off his own performance skills should he make another surprise musical appearance at this year's Oscar ceremony on Feb. 27.
Getting Steamy With Gilles Marini
Gilles Marini may be best known for his successful foray onto Dancing With the Stars and his role as Luc on Brothers & Sisters. But he's also an expert shower-taker, as anyone who saw his turn as Samantha's sexy exhibitionist neighbor in the first Sex and the City movie knows.
I got the chance to meet Gilles a couple weeks back when he was in San Francisco. He's a L'Occitane ambassador, which makes sense: he grew up in Provence and even used to take lavender from the L'Occitane fields as a child. And now I know how he shortens his bathing time. Instead of using his shampoo and conditioner separately, Gilles says he makes his own two-in-one by mixing his products, lathering, and then leaving them on for two minutes. Why he would ever want to save time in the shower, however, is still a mystery.
Celebrity Kids and Parents Flock to Star-Studded Yo Gabba Gabba Shows!
The hottest ticket in LA this weekend wasn't a new club or A-list red carpet, instead the stars and their adorable little ones headed out to see Yo Gabba Gabba at the Nokia Theater. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden brought Harlow and Sparrow to check out the action on Saturday. Nicole twittered a hello from the event and even took the stage to dance with Joel at one point. The two are rumored to be tying the knot this upcoming weekend and she's been logging long hours at the gym in preparation. Their friend Jessica Alba and Honor also checked out the tour on Saturday, and the actress joked to her followers that her "'cool' days are over" after enjoying the kid-friendly entertainment. Both Kingston and Zuma Rossdale excitedly watched the performance alongside mom Gwen Stefani while Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn looked like they were having as much fun as their twins Charlie and Dolly. Yo Gabba Gabba has tons of celebrity fans including the Jolie-Pitt family. Brad dressed up as DJ Lance Rock for Halloween last year, though the family missed the show since they're off having their own festive times for Pax's birthday in Paris.

HBO Brings Out Big Guns Before Heading to War With Pacific
HBO rolled out the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of The Pacific, the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks produced war miniseries that starts airing next month. True Blood heartthrobs Ryan Kwanten, Alexander Skarsgard, and Stephen Moyer were all in attendance though Michelle Forbes filled in on the arm of Stephen in the absence of his fiance Anna Paquin. Alexander was a welcome face at New York Fashion Week events earlier this month, though his recent frequent date Kate Bosworth sat out yesterday evening's party as well. Cutie newcomer to the HBO family How to Make It in America's Bryan Greenberg was there to return the support after recently premiering his own show in NYC.

Lauren, Selena and Kim Turn Out Stylishly in Hollywood
Many pretty young things were out in LA last night to attend the Hollywood Style Awards. Lauren Conrad took a break from thinking about the LA Candy movie to hit the white carpet in a floral dress, present an award and congratulate Young Stylemaker Brody Jenner. Kim was the lone Kardashian at the event and talked about how she's happy to let her sisters have the spotlight these days, though they're still working together on an upcoming line for Bebe. Hayden Panettiere and Selena Gomez posed in their minis and were just a few of the evening's big winners, but you guys seem split when it comes to deciding who was the best dressed.

Ashton and Charlize Take In a Match
Charlize Theron and Ashton Kutcher headed to Pasadena last night for the World Football Challenge. The action on the field was between the Chelsea and Inter Milan, but Ashton and Charlize kept the photographers busy on the sidelines and blue carpet. Charlize spoke before the match in her black dress about how her charity, the Africa Outreach Project, is organizing soccer games for underprivileged kids in South Africa. Ashton's no stranger to philanthropic endeavors of his own, but the evening's focus was on Charlize's work — and, of course, the game.

Are You Happy With the Dancing With the Stars Winner?

This season's Dancing With the Stars winner is Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson! At the age of 17, Johnson is the show's youngest competitor and she just barely beat actor Gilles Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke for the mirror ball trophy.
The competition was fierce indeed — right down to the last minute. Johnson and her partner Mark Ballas edged out Marini, "the front-runner and judges' favorite, by less than one percent of the viewers' votes."
Less than one percent! Wow. So who were you rooting for? Are you glad the mirror trophy is now in Johnson's hot little hands? Or did you want Gilles (or Melissa!) to win?
