It's a Boy! Georgina Chapman Welcomes Second Child (Updated)

Congratulations are in order for Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, who gave birth to a boy late last week.

Congratulations are in order for Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, who gave birth to a boy late last week.

Page Six reported that Chapman and her movie-mogul husband, Harvey Weinstein, welcomed the new addition to their family on Thursday in New York. It's the first son for both Chapman and Weinstein and the second child the couple has had together (they had a daughter, India Pearl, in 2010). Weinstein has three daughters — Emma, Lily, and Ruth — from his first marriage.

Update: Page Six has reported that the baby's name is Dashiell Max Robert. The first name is for The Thin Man author Dashiell Hammett (a source said Weinstein was reminded of the book's main female character, Nora Charles, when he first met Chapman). Max was Weinstein's father's name, and he and his brother Robert (known as Bob) formed both Miramax and The Weinstein Company together.

Diane Kruger and Katie Holmes Toast Quentin Tarantino

Diane Kruger wore Prabal Gurung for a special gala honoring Quentin Tarantino in NYC last night.

Diane Kruger wore Prabal Gurung for a special gala honoring Quentin Tarantino in NYC last night. Diane and stars, including Katie Holmes, assembled at the Museum of Modern Art for the "Tribute to Quentin Tarantino" event, which comes ahead of the release of the director's next film, Django Unchained, on Christmas Day. Quentin's the fifth-ever director to receive a retrospective honor from MoMA, following in the footsteps of Tim Burton and more.

Diane and Quentin have worked together previously, as she starred in his 2009 film, Inglourious Basterds. Diane made a speech about Quentin before a small film about him was screened for an audience of his frequent collaborators, including Reservoir Dogs actors Steve Buscemi and Harvey Keitel. Quentin's frequent producer Harvey Weinstein made the rounds with his pregnant wife, Georgina Chapman, as did Chelsea Clinton with her husband, Marc Mezvinsky. Django's Jamie Foxx also showed up to lend his support to Quentin.

Shia LaBeouf and Jessica Chastain Team Up to Show Off Lawless in NYC

Shia LaBeouf and his Lawless leading lady, Jessica Chastain, teamed up for a Cinema Society screening of their film at NYC's Paley Center for Media.

Shia LaBeouf and his Lawless leading lady, Jessica Chastain, teamed up for a Cinema Society screening of their film at NYC's Paley Center for Media. The screening was also sponsored by YSL Beaute, and Jessica was fittingly decked out in a YSL dress with Tom Binns jewelry. She kept up her brand loyalty, wearing a black YSL outfit. In addition to Shia and Jessica, other stars checked out the premiere. Seth Meyers and Chloe Sevigny swung by, as did Patti Smith, Patricia Clarkson, and Melissa Leo. Later on, Shia and Jessica toasted their action movie, which is out Aug. 29, with an afterparty at Gallow Green at the McKittrick Hotel.

We caught a moment with both stars on the red carpet, and they spoke about how they stuck close to the film's Prohibition-era theme by drinking moonshine after the cameras stopped rolling. Shia viewed drinking as a good bonding experience with the cast, but Jessica didn't really take to it. She told us, "We would drink moonshine — I didn't drink so much moonshine. I like liquor that's sweet, and the moonshine we had down there wasn't so sweet!" Catch more from our interviews with both Shia and Jessica later today on PopSugar Rush.

Angela Lindvall Confirmed to Host Project Runway All Stars

>> Speculation that arose last week has been confirmed: Angela Lindvall — not Heidi Klum — will host Lifetime's upcoming Project Runway All Stars spinoff.

>> Speculation that arose last week has been confirmed: Angela Lindvall — not Heidi Klum — will host Lifetime's upcoming Project Runway All Stars spinoff. "Here I am in New York City! I landed a huge opportunity that will have me here for a month," Lindvall wrote last month on her blog. "Have to keep it top secret for now."

In place of Project Runway judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa's Georgina Chapman (who also happens to be married to the show's executive producer Harvey Weinstein) will join Lindvall on the All Stars judging panel. The show will premiere later this year on Lifetime.

And speaking of models heading to television, Carolyn Murphy just noted that she's currently "working on a TV show."

Heidi Klum

Rumor — Angela Lindvall to Host Project Runway All-Stars?

>> Heidi Klum has been Project Runway's host from the start, but as the show prepares for Project Runway All-Stars — an upcoming eight-episode spin-off series bringing back some of the show's alumni to compete against one another — Klum will not be pulling double hosting duties.

>> Heidi Klum has been Project Runway's host from the start, but as the show prepares for Project Runway All-Stars — an upcoming eight-episode spin-off series bringing back some of the show's alumni to compete against one another — Klum will not be pulling double hosting duties. According to a Lifetime spokesperson, All-Stars "is a completely separate show, with a separate host and a separate set of judges."

So who will be stepping in to host the spin-off? Originally, it was thought that Miranda Kerr might be a candidate, after she was spotted meeting with Project Runway executive producer Harvey Weinstein last week. But it sounds like Kerr is just in talks to be an All-Stars guest judge. Now, rumors have pointed in another direction: Modelinia reports hearing that Angela Lindvall has signed on as host. Lindvall has done TV — aside from walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show — in the past: she co-starred in the green makeover series Alter Eco back in 2008.

>> Alexa Chung and her longtime boyfriend, Artic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, have split; the couple, 27 and 25 respectively, were together for over four years. "It's completely amicable — but yes it's true. They have split," Chung's spokesperson confirmed in a statement yesterday.

Chung recently bought an apartment in New York after landing a hosting gig for the upcoming Lifetime show 24-Hour Catwalk — which pits designers against each other in runway challenges — created by Harvey Weinstein. Turner, meanwhile, is currently on a world tour through the rest of the Summer. They started dating in April 2007, after meeting at Coachella.

Marios Schwab, Harvey Weinstein Both Officially Out at Halston

>> Marios Schwab's fate at Halston didn't sound promising yesterday, and now it's been determined: his contract, which expired, will not be renewed.

>> Marios Schwab's fate at Halston didn't sound promising yesterday, and now it's been determined: his contract, which expired, will not be renewed. It sounds like the Halston designer collection, too, is no longer: The brand will reportedly not produce a Spring 2012 collection, and it sounds like it's unclear as to whether the Fall 2011 collection will be delivered to stores.

Harvey Weinstein, who has had an equity stake in Halston for the past couple of years, has also officially split from the brand. As WWD notes, he brought high-profile attention to the brand with his name attached, but: "His role was essentially that of a figurehead with little or no operational responsibility."

Despite all the departures, Halston is still said to have full confidence from parent company Hilco Consumer Capital, which recently invested $7.5 million in the brand more after seeing recent growth at retail. The focus going forward is said to be on the secondary Halston Heritage line.
