Newlywed Hugh Hefner turns 87 today! Bachelor no more, he tied the knot on New Year's Eve with his 60-years-younger fiancée, Crystal Harris, whom he's dated for nearly four years. The pair called off their 2011 nuptials just days before the big day, but after reuniting in 2011, Crystal is officially Hugh's wife No. 3 — third time's a charm? Crystal isn't the first young Playboy Playmate Hef has been romantically linked to, and I'm sure she won't be the last. Since his divorce from first wife Mildred Williams in 1959, the magazine mogul has been with many well-endowed lady friends, sometimes two or more at a time! See some of the Playmates Hef has been paired up with over the past five decades.
When a Couple Breaks Up Before They Marry, Who Should Keep the Ring?
In the latest Hollywood breakup news, 85-year-old Hugh Hefner has been jilted at the altar by his 25-year-old bride, Crystal Harris. Both parties claim to coping well; Hefner has tweeted that he's "happy to be single," and Crystal took to partying in Vegas on the day of the canceled wedding. Hefner's former fiancée might have had something to celebrate — she apparently got to keep the $90,000 three-carat diamond ring that the Playboy mogul proposed to her with, and a Bentley that he had given her.
There are so many things involved in the decision to give back the ring, such as who broke it off and traditional etiquette rules. If you're going by the legal system, you'll have to factor in where you live. In conditional gift states, which include New York and Michigan, the ring needs to be returned if there is no marriage. In an implied conditional state like California, it depends on who breaks off the engagement, and in an unconditional gift state like Montana, the ring does not have to be returned.
What's your take on this — if a couple doesn't end up getting married, who gets to keep the engagement bling?

Have You Said No to Being a Bridesmaid?
The dress is picked, the location is chosen, and the groom is still a-livin'. All good signs for the marriage of 84-year-old Playboy Hugh Hefner and his unlikely blushing bride, 24-year-old Playmate Crystal Harris.
The Daily Mail interviewed the couple's wedding planner, Kellie Olisky, and I was surprised by some of the elegant choices they made for their June wedding at the Playboy mansion. And then talk turned to bridesmaids and the dresses, and Olisky said it. She really said it.
"One sister is in Idaho. She might need a sleeve."
Unfortunately, or fortunately, most of us aren't privy to these behind-the-scenes conversations because, oh, we don't have them in front of reporters. But, sister Harris, in Idaho, I want you to know it's OK to say no. Here are tips on how to turn down being a bridesmaid gracefully, but sometimes you just need to say it in any shape, at any volume.
Have you turned down a request — gracefully, passive-aggressively, or aggressive-aggressively?
Mad Men: The Playboy Bunny in the '60s
Everybody has secrets — that pretty much sums up last night's episode of Mad Men. The least of Lane Pryce's secrets is that he's a key holder at New York's Playboy Club. Yet that key is likely something he'd brag about in 1965 rather than hold tight to the vest of his three-piece suit.

Hugh Hefner opened the first Playboy Club in 1960 in Chicago to bring the Playboy magazine experience to life. He quickly grew the Playboy empire by opening clubs around the world. They were elegant, high-profile spots and symbols of status (only 21 percent of key holders ever went to clubs because membership was enough), but it was also a bit of a knockoff of Chicago's Gaslight Club, which Playboy ran a feature on in 1959.

Hugh Hefner Documentary — Would You Watch It?
What's the first thing that pops into your mind when you hear the name Hugh Hefner? Sex, I'm sure. A new documentary wants to add "civil rights activist" to the list of things the Playboy icon is known for. Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel presents Hugh as a champion of gay rights, women's liberation, and racial integration.
Here's Hugh describing his legacy:
"One of the things I find really curious is when people say I've lived an amoral life. From my perspective, it's quite the contrary. I feel I've lived a very moral life. I've been on the side of angels from the beginning.”
One such angelic anecdote: when two of his Playboy nightclubs in the South were racially segregated, Hugh bought them back and integrated them. As for women, the man who tells his current twin girlfriends apart by a birthmark says: "I was a feminist before there was such a thing as feminism." Hugh's Playboy Foundation has funded legal battles for birth control and abortion access. Of course one could argue that Hugh has this influential role only because he made a fortune objectifying women for the entertainment of men.

Say What? Hugh Hefner Keeps His Eye on the Mark

"I have one little trick, one has a little mark. Other than that, I don’t know."
— Hugh Hefner on how he can tell his twin girlfriends Kristina and Karissa apart. If they had the pleasure of having multiple boyfriends, it would be easy for them to tell them apart from Hugh. He'd be the old dude in the satin robe who keeps getting their names mixed up while struggling to put on his spectacles to look for "the mark."
Matthew and Catherine Celebrate Michael's Body of Work
Michael Douglas was the man of the evening last night as he received an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in LA. He hit the red carpet on the arm of his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, while his Ghosts of Girlfriends Past costar Matthew McConaughey brought along Camila Alves. Kiefer Sutherland and Tobey Maguire took the stage to pay tribute to their pal Michael, and Catherine even brought out her Chicago skills for a song-and-dance number in her husband's honor. Michael's been a Hollywood heavyweight for decades, but we'll see more of him on the big screen in the Wall Street sequel and, according to Catherine, a project they're looking to star in together.

The Lakers Perform For Their All-Star Fans
The LA Lakers hit the court at the Staples Center for game five of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets last night. The game was close, but the hometown team pulled out the big win. The audience was star-studded as usual including familiar faces like Zac Efron and Jack Nicholson while Ellen Pompeo and MIA had their men by their sides. Kim Kardashian excitedly twittered about heading to the game with Reggie Bush, though she was rooting for her friend LaLa's boyfriend Carmelo Anthony on the Nuggets. The Lakers have the chance to win the series in Denver tomorrow, but if they have to come home for game seven their celebrity good luck charms will be there to cheer them on.
