Ashlee Simpson jumped on the braid bandwagon and headed to Las Vegas this weekend to watch her man Pete spin at the Grand Opening of Palms Place Hotel & Spa on Saturday night. It was a family affair with Papa Joe and Jess in the house, and while Tony skipped the event, he was right by Jessica's side in San Diego yesterday. Lauren and Lo left The Hills long enough to attend the event, while Sarah Larson had to walk the red carpet all by her lonesome, poor baby. Pete kept the crowd entertained with dedications to his "baby mama" and father-in-law, but we're going to have to wait to hear more of Ashlee's musical stylings — she unsurprisingly postponed her Summer tour to get ready for her new baby.

Goa is quickly making a name for itself among the Hollywood elite (and by "elite" I mean people who love the clubs). Last night was another big one with Paris and her 24/7 beck-and-call boyfriend, Alex Vaggo. Celebrating her new movie preview no doubt — not that you all were loving it at all. Seacrest took a moment off from working and enjoyed the night out, but I'm sure he didn't stay out too late because the morning radio waits for no man. Zach Braff was thrilled to be there and while we're saying a premature goodbye to his Scrubs, he's not straying too far. He's working with his brother to direct a drama pilot for Fox, but don't worry it has to do with the medical world. Sounds like a good enough reason for a pre-Christmas party.

The humans behind our favorite yellow family and some of their other famous friends came out in LA last night to celebrate the premiere of The Simpsons Movie. It's been impossible to avoid the hype (and adorable promotion), and we'll all finally be able to see the long-awaited film on Friday. On the yellow carpet the adorable Hank Azaria cheekily stuck his finger up Homer's nose while JC Chasez was a little more tame in front of the poster. What do you think of Erika Christensen's more mature look? As for Dr. Phil, never one to miss an opportunity to impart advice, he had this to say about Lohan's problems:

"Somebody's going to have to step up and tell these young talents that they're not bulletproof. I just hope somebody doesn't have to get dead before somebody wakes up and says 'we've got to wake up and slow down.'"

While I'm loathe to admit that Dr. Phil is ever right, he's got a point. That being said, it came out in the most smarmy & smug way possible.

Pouring rain could not stop Ashley Judd from celebrating her husband Dario Franchitti's big win at the Indy 500 this weekend. Despite being in a soaked sundress Ashley climbed the pit wall to join Dario in the middle of his victory lap. Tons of stars were there to watch the celebration as well even though the rain was so bad the race had to be cut short to 415 miles! The Grey's men were totally representing and it look like Chris Daughtry gave a rockin' performance with his band as usual. Although we're sad to say it looks like Chris is sporting guyliner again. Britney may have dumped K-Fed but it doesn't look like he's going away anytime soon. Last night he was at the Details Magazine Insider Party along with Michael Vartan, Daniel Dae Kim and a few Laguna Beach alums. Kevin is trying to change his image, ditching his wife-beaters for blazers (or sweater coats) and trying to act a little more sophisticated. Still, that's going to be hard to keep up for long. K-Fed is going back to wrestling to pay his hefty legal bills. He plans to have a rematch with Cena on WWE on New Year's.
