The cast of Julie and Julia moved cross-country for the NYC premiere after hitting the red carpet in LA earlier this week. Meryl Streep went a bit more casual this time while Amy Adams took it up a notch in her floor-length gown. There were a few famous chefs out for the night, as well as Julie Powell who inspired the title character of the film. Both Yum and Buzz had the chance to interview Julie this week — read about her thoughts on the movie here and her relationship with Julia Child here.

Straight-faced was the word — other than Ashlee Simpson (best PR week EVER!) — at last night's Conde Nast Traveler 8th Annual Hot List party in NYC. Pete wasn't by her side, but of course Ash wore a loose LBD for the soirée, wouldn't want to stop the chatter after all. Cutie Damien Fahey and a stern Milo Ventimiglia were also solo for the red carpet while Adrien Brody (love him) had his hot little girlfriend Elsa Pataky cozied up next to him. Ashlee isn't ready to put the story to rest publicly admit the pregnancy (or not, whatever), but she's certainly not shy with that new ring of hers.

CariDee, who appeared on the February 2007 cover, is flirty and naughty. Jaslene, the July 2007 cover girl, is girly but intense. Saleisha, on the latest February 2008 magazine, is playful and sweet. I always wondered if America's Next Top Model really gives the amateur contestants the exposure they need to get modeling jobs after their reality glory days are over. Judging from these photos, it looks like it does! How credible and desirable the jobs are is a whole different story. The important thing is that they're working, making money, and getting some exposure, right?

CariDee English, winner of Season 7, is busy partying and acting these days. She even made an appearance on Gossip Girl. Nik from Season 5 is working the runways these days, while Season 5 winner Nicole Linkletter is showing off clothes for SoLowStyle.com. Jade from Season 6 is currently the face of Apple Bottom Jeans by Nelly, and the latest winner Jaslene Gonzalez is in ads for Lot 29. Each girl has found her niche in a different place, but one thing they have in common is that they're workin' it.

The stars of the CW graced the red carpet to announce their new line-up for next year, and it sure is jam-packed with beautiful women! A slimmed down Tyra recently revealed how she got bikini ready and she sure is showing off her hard work here as well. Tyra and One Tree Hill actress, Hilarie Burton represented their veteran shows, while newcomers from the Gossip Girls strutted their stuff for the first time. The new show was created by Josh Schwartz who also created the O.C. so you can imagine we can't wait to check this one out. We have high hopes it will fill the Seth, Summer, Marissa and Ryan void.
