Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner took care of business separately in LA on Friday. Jennifer had an armload of gifts, perhaps for Violet, Seraphina, or baby Samuel who will be celebrating his first Christmas this year. Ben is back from a quick trip to Washington DC this week. Ben testified before the House Armed Services Committee and met with new secretary of state nominee, Senator John Kerry. This possible new position for the Massachusetts representative opened up discussion of Ben possibly running for the senate seat that would open in John's wake. So far Ben has played it coy about a future in politics, though in the immediate future, he has another campaign to focus on — Argo's award season push. Ben's success is one of our
