She jetted out of LA earlier this week to spend time on the islands, and Wednesday, she donned a different two-piece to explore the surf. Jennifer managed to enjoy time by the water after a whirlwind few weeks of doing press for Silver Linings Playbook, which opened in wide release yesterday. Jennifer slipped into a blue string bikini, which showed off her toned body, to hit the beach on Wednesday afternoon. Jennifer has been on the road promoting Silver Linings Playbook, which is earning rave reviews and early award-season buzz, as it makes its wide release this holiday. While out doing interviews for Silver Linings Playbook, Jen shared some of her usual candid and hilarious anecdotes, including one about a near miss with Honey Boo Boo that earned her some headlines. She stayed pretty tight-lipped on Catching Fire, the next movie in the Hunger Games series, though she is still rocking her dark Katniss locks.

The Oscar-nominated actress, who made a name for herself in Winter's Bone, is making her blockbuster debut this Summer in X Men: First Class, but also keeping her indie cred with The Beaver, which is officially headed to Cannes. Jennifer will have to squeeze in that trip to France right before her transformation into scrappy Katniss Everdeen. We think Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games is perfect casting, but she'll reportedly be changing her look, starting with making those blond locks much darker for the role.
